What did you use to do the super tight curls like on Quackers and Braided Beauty?
I've been trying to get my girls to have curls like that, but I can't get it to work with the straws I have

Thanks for the great feedback everyone! I've added Whizzer, Banana Surprise, Quarterback, Daffodil, and Snowdrop to the first post.

Sweet_Stuff - I just used white acrylic paint. Folk Art brand, I think.

Chelsea - yeah, I used the straw method. I wrap the hair around the straw, wrap a piece of paper towel around the end of the hair to keep it in place, then hold it all in place with a bobby pin

More cleaned up ponies added!! Little Tabby, Baby Tangles, Baby Puddles, Baby Sparkle Firefly and Sweet Blossom all had their spa day! Hope you like them!

Wow! They all look amazing! You're inspirng me to take before pictures, I have some super dirtty ponies to clean. I love all the deflocks and I can't believe how great Quarterback looks compared to before. I have one that looks like your before photo, I hope he turns out that nice after his spa day.

Nice! Especially Quarterback and Hula hula! I love cleaning ponies, I just get so excited I usually forget to take before photos of them. Lol!

Haha yeah, I can't remember what prompted me to take before pictures, it's just something I did from the get go! I'm so glad I did...it's awesome being able to compare and see just how much of a difference there is!

Just added 4 more ponies! Milky Way, Sunbeam, Napper and So Soft Paradise had their spa day last night! Super happy with how SS Paradise turned out!

What did you use / do to clean Paradise? I got a SS Ribbon in somewhat similar 'before' condition, but the stains are lighter and bigger on her legs..

What did you use / do to clean Paradise? I got a SS Ribbon in somewhat similar 'before' condition, but the stains are lighter and bigger on her legs..

I got her wet with cold water and poured some OxiClean powder over her and scrubbed really gently. That seemed to help get the dirt out. Then rinsed in cold water. Then shampooed and conditioned her whole body and rinsed in cold water to make her nice and soft. Then just let her air dry overnight. Always use cold water so you don't loosen the flocking glue!
