I had a book on hold at the library for several months, and I finally got the notification that it’s ready for pickup! What’s more exciting is that it’s just as good as I hoped it’d be.

So the city council had decided a lot of new ordinances around town, some of them somewhat reasonable, but most just laughable. They have all been overruled by the county as most of them were breaking the law!

I got my pain meds today I've taken one and it's working pretty well It says it can make you drowsy but it's not doing that to me. Yet, anyway. But I took it about two hours ago, so I think if I was going to get drowsy it would have happened already.

I'm so happy to finally have someone listen to me and actually give me pain medicine.

More great news! My new metal box spring came Now I can get a good nights sleep finally. I do have to put it together and take apart the bed. This new one is a foundation and box spring in one. So I can get rid of my wooden broken box spring and I think I'll keep the frame. I don't know why. It's only a few years old, feels wrong to just throw it out.

Also also! I bought some cold brew coffee concentrate for iced coffee, since I can't ever remember to make my own. I got Tim Horton's which I don't think I've had before but it had good reviews. And Dunkin Donuts, which I have had before and had bad reviews - but they were basically "it's bitter". Well, yeah, coffee IS bitter I'm trying the Tim Horton's. I guess I like strong coffee because you're supposed to put in 3/4 a cup in a cup and a half of water. I put in triple that. It's good though!

Wow, that's a large beach! It's funny, I know the UK and Ireland are an island, but I never think about you guys having beaches. I guess my brain is too stuck with tropical=beach when that's even more weird since in Wisconsin, I grew up next to Lake Michigan and spent plenty of time at the beach.

Last night Ninja woke me up needing a lot of cuddle. Then he laid down beneath the pillow on my husbands side of the bed (he was at work) and fell a sleep with his paw in my hand. He doesn't do this usually so I still get all warm and fuzzy thinking about it.

The beach is a couple of miles away & I'm glad I went on a day it was quiet. That thing is rammed on sunny weekends!!! There's a lovely walk to get to it too which avoids traffic, so it's great to grab a few snacks & fill bottles, stuff them in a bag, & walk there for a good day out if the weather's not too bad
