Ok so the prices are abit crazy but... in which store did you find them? I haven't seen any in my TRU or Coop yet down here, and lets not get started on BR cuz' they haven't had a single MLP in any of the ones I've gone too >.<
Pony prices seem to be ridicolously high in the Nordics, then...Quote from: Desert Rose on August 01, 2012, 02:59:20 AMOk so the prices are abit crazy but... in which store did you find them? (they're over here but I'm seldom near one ) Must check. The Brio toy stores have ponies, I've never checked a BR but I guess they wouldn't have them there if they don't in Sweden.
Welcome to Europe.... You Americans will jawdrop at the prices they are being sold for over here. The average "normal" price I pay for a single is €8 (about $10-$11) and yes, I have receipts to prove it. It's so frustrated, because buying from the US might not always be cheaper. Think about the shipping.

Think about the shipping. This is so true! We get the steepest prices over here...although I think Scandinavia seems to suffer the worst for rates. But then again its pretty standard that items are priced "in line" with a country's economy. Personally I have always found Norway and Iceland two of the most gorgeous but also most expensive countries to visit when it comes to "daily life". I thought I was so lovely buying the first round when I was in Iceland for the first time and honestly thought the bar man had the decimal point in the wrong place when he gave me the total . All you have to look at is something like the Cost Of Living Index and you get a rough idea of where ponies are probably more expensive. http://www.numbeo.com/cost-of-living/rankings_by_country.jsp - Ponies & World Economics - seriously they should be used as a course example
