G1 Minty - Hair color match to which ponies?

Hello!  I have a very nice G1 Minty that needs a new tail--her old one basically disintegrated as I was coming it out (she came in a lot of hot mess ponies).  I'm hoping to find a bait pony w/ white hair that I can use as a tail donor.  I know there are some subtle variations in white MLP hair.  Any idea who is an exact match for Minty?  Sunbeam and Twilight???  Who else?

I think any G1 with white hair is a match I may have a tail for you, I will have to check in the morning though as it's 3am now lol

Eeek!  KittyBethy, I was afraid of that!  Is there truly no other MLP w/ "white witch" hair?  Over on the "Wanted" thread, PandaBerryInSpace suggested I just buy some hair from DollyHair, which I'm considering, but this Minty is just about mint, and I hate to not use a vintage tail. 

I always thought Twilight's hair looked like it has a bit of silver in it, but is her hair Virgin Snow?  Unfortunately I don't have one to compare to at the moment.

As for what happened to Minty's original tail--it had been threaded very badly at the factory w/ lots of loops of hair at the top of the tail.  I was trying to fix this, and large chunks of tail starting falling out.  I've never seen anything like it!  I'm very careful not to pull too hard on tails, but this one self destructed!

This is going to sounds weird but....Mintys colour is like a white with a goldish tone and the others, like Twilight, are more white with a silver tone....

I dont mean its obvious that there is another colour running through them I just mean that when you compare them thats the only way I can describe the difference

My MO Minty does however have the more silver white hair and its only the flat foot and concave versions which have the slightly darker white - I guess they changed the white batch early after the first year
