I'm clearing out some of my collection, and I wanted to ask you kind folks for a little advice.

I'm planning on parting ways with a Taffy I got from another collectors "project box". The flocking on her body is in fair condition; some discoloration on her hooves, and lint caught in it, but overall intact. However, her head is almost completely unflocked, with just old yellowed glue.

What would you do in my situation? Should I finish the job and deflock her entirely? Or just sell her as-is?

I was looking for ponies at Walmart today, and found a bunch of squishamals instead! I hadn't heard of them, but I wound up buying one! I got the seafoam and purple cat. There were all sorts of creatures though, even a sloth, hedgehog, narwhal, and unicorn.

They're squishy like a stress ball, but have minky-like fabric on the outside. When you squeeze them they compress for a few seconds and then move back into their original shape. I'd say they're roughly around grapefruit sized. Also, they're scented. I personally am not a fan of this, (fake smells give me headaches), but I think they're supposed to smell like melon or something.

I think I paid $7 for mine, which seemed a tad much to me, but I decided to treat myself.

Has anyone else gotten into these little guys? Who do you have?

Hello!

I'm almost finished with a custom for one of my friends, so in preparation, I'm here with a question; Is there a specific way I should pack said custom when I ship it?

The custom is a G4 Pegasus, painted in acrylics and rehaired. It's going from Ohio, USA to Nova Scotia, Canada.

Is there any specific material I should wrap the custom in to protect it, like cloth or tissue paper? There are no added or glued on parts, just the standard pony body. Do I need to acquire a particularly sturdy box, (or double box it), or will a standard flat rate box work fine?

I want all three new reboot princesses, and it'd be super nice to be able to get them all together, especially since it'd be less expensive than buying them separately.

But I've noticed the TRU exclusives have tinsel in their hair. :'-( I'm not a fan of it at all.

Does anybody have these girls? Is the tinsel rooted next to their hair, making it easy to just trim? Or would removing the tinsel just leave a big bald spot?

Went to the flea market on Thursday with a couple of friends! We were a bit disappointed at first; It was a very windy day, so not many vendors were out and about. But then! My mom was the big hero of the day!

She lead me to a booth where the vendor was just packing up, and sitting in a bag on the ground was a bag of ponies!! I went to pay for them, and the vendor said she had some more in her car. I swear, it was like a magician's scarf; she just kept pulling out pony after pony!

I think the coating on Mirror Mirror's symbol has come off; should I do anything to protect it, or leave it be? Besides that, these four are in pretty nice condition! :-D

Seashell has some head and body mismatch, but I'm just excited to add a sitting pony to my herd! I also tried to keep what remained of Lemon Cake's curl, but her hair was pretty matted. I do like how her forelock wound up, though! :-P

You can see the remains of some sort of nail polish on Baby Splashes hooves! It was weird; kind of like gel, it peeled right off. I love her diaper design! Lil duckies :-P

Crunch Berry and Baby Dots both came without their tails; Dots is currently sporting a spare white tail that matches her forelock! Skydancer's mane and tail are in pretty good condition, but her plastic is pretty icky! :-P Mold stains, mysterious green splotches, head and body mismatch, plasticizer leak. I've disinfected her and given her a surface cleaning, but I'm going to have to research a bit more to see if there's anything else to be done for her.

I think Cool Breeze or Baby Luckyleaf are the two I'm most excited about! Neither were on my wish list, but I think they're just darling!


These came with Baby Glory and Baby Lofty! I'm a big fan of frogs, so i was pumped that one of the outfits had it's little froggy friend still. :-D I am wondering though, did these pocket pals get mixed up with their original sets? The picture on the wiki places the frog with the sunsuit outfit. Did the babies trade pals with their friends sometime, or were pocket pals random? I'm very curious!

i went to a flea market yesterday, and found a bunch of ponies! last time i went i didn't see a single one, so it was a real surprise to find all of these!

part of sunrise's hair was dry rotted! i really like her body color though, so maybe i'll rehair her. until then, she just has a tinsel forelock :-P i also love star catcher, since she was in my childhood herd!

three lovelies! i wanted skywishes when i was little, so im pumped to have her! then butter pop and crystal lace are just so pretty, i had to get them. even though crystal has a tail trim, i like how its curled :-)

in addition, a lil tiger furby! his battery compartment has a bit of corrosion in it, but i'm pretty sure i can fix him up. a funny thing i noticed is that his feet are sewn on in a different way from my other furbies! you can see compared to my leopard one, hes got a bit of a jaunty little stance!

one of my dear friends recently had a birthday! we both like ponies, so i decided to make her a custom inspired by both her favorite stone and favorite steven universe cartoon character; rose quartz!

rose was made from a crumpet mold fakie that i've been waiting to use for a few years! she was painted with light pink acrylic paint, given a coat of clear sparkle acrylic, and then sealed. her hair is yarn because i wanted it to be extra fluffy! then she has a simple gem on each side for her symbol.

shes very sparkly IRL, i wish it showed better in the photos!

this was my first time rehairing a pony's mane, so i was a bit intimidated! but im happy with how she came out, and i'm excited to give her to my pal!

hi everyone! i wanted to share some pics of the newest members of my herd!

mane-iac mayhem! i forget who told me about it, but ollie's has a lot of power ponies on sale. i saw twilight and fluttershy there in addition to mane-iac. i also saw the pinkie and scootaloo play pack, some apple family members, and one ponymania princess cadence pack.

even though i wasnt super keen on the episode itself, i think mane-iac is super cool :-)

wal-marts fiscal year ends on the 31st, so they a lot of some pony stuff on clearance! i finally bought the swan boat pinkie pie, and a blanket making kit :-P they had a bunch of other stuff too; you should check it out if youre interested!

i'd heard collectors say they'd gotten ponies with oily hair before. i thought they just meant it was slippery feeling; i was WRONG!! honey rays hair left residue on my fingers AND on her body. ew!

i washed her + conditioned her hair right away, but i wonder why it was there! also, even though her mane was all slicked up, her tail was frizzy right out of the box :'-0 super disappointing! but i am glad to have her, especially since her wings are removable.

i found coloratura at family dollar, and ordered cherry berry and pretzel! the latter two were in better condition than honey rays, but both of them still had a few strands of hair unravel that i had to trim. all three also have little rough patches of plastic. i really like them though, they all have such striking color palettes!
