Taobao/Ebay Finds - Master Thread

Yeah- the people with the white celestia prototype will be happy- there are a LOT of differences.  Her eye design is totally different.  The hair colors are different, and I think maybe less full.  The tail is just a mix of the hair colors.  I take a comparison pic if I have time this weekend (unless someone beats me to it?)

Is white Celestia gonna be another "taobao exclusive"?  where there's only 2 of her, and she's gone in a blink of an eye never to be seen again?

I honestly don't want to pay someone $500+ for her on ebay  :/

She keeps getting relisted with 8 ponies available. I think the taobao agents are milking her for sales.

She's gone for $40 a couple times on eBay, but that's because that was her starting price. There's another one with a much lower starter ending in about 21 hours, which should provide a better idea of what people want to pay for her, though whether she'll continue to be available at that price thereafter is another question.

Im excited about the White Celestia and Luna with the music notes!!!!! I REALLY hope these are future releases!!!! They BOTH have musical notes on their wings it seems!!!

I would bet dollars to doughnuts she is NOT going to be a Taobao exclusive- I recommend that you do NOT get her from Taobao right now or from ebay, even if you can, because her price is way high, and given the numbers that she is appearing in, and the proven popularity of the white brushable Celestia, I'm POSITIVE she is going to be released at the same time or in a set with the Luna with notes on her wings.

Yep, I think her cutie mark is supposed to be on her other side.

^Her tail looks very thick, like on most customs. But I really like her in blue.

Not sure if anyone is particularly interested- but some comparisons between the prototype White Celestia, and the new one.

The obvious differences to me are the eye shape and size, and the missing seagreen color in her mane and tail.  The texture of the hair feels different too, the new hair more glossy, the old nylon more soft/matted (although that might just be because the prototype is several years old)

I don't think the picture really pics up the light green color very well.
