I'm not sure if this has been mentioned or not, but I just ran across a Design-a-Pony Princess Cadance on eBay.

Sigh. I'll get her, if I can find her cheap enough (only Luna I ever saw here was £20) but I wish she was her proper shade. I know they can make that shade of plastic, so it's disappointing....

Does anyone have the slightest clue on what's going on with the fashion style Celestia?

No one is sure atm,  still a mystery. I assume she will be a FS Rainbow Rocks release in stores. I dont think they have listed more on Taobao, theres a few on evilbay but they are very expensive. Some of us feel they may change the hair of her if she is officially released but maybe not so likely the body color since we are seeing white variants of her merch lately.

Actually, the Luna is actually Cadence's mold, but they released her as Luna first to test how well the product would do since Luna is more appealing to the older fans who do most of the customizing. The DaP Luna was always Cadence, just colored differently, so technically Cadence came first

All that hair and they couldn't be bothered to give RD a full rainbow in her mane and tail each? Bluh.

That Rainbow Dash's head hair  in the pic reminds me of Skittles/Starburst candies. O_o

...and is it bad that, until/before the DaP Cadance pics showed up, I didn't know that the DaP Luna was in a Cadance mold?

Not at all! It's not obvious since she was immediately released as Luna- but if you notice, that's Cadance's hairstyle

That makes sense with the hairstyle thing. Ah the whims and weirdness of Hasbro. At least they're still making ponies...on the subject of the "styling" ponies...why do they not have mounds of hair? I'd pay another $5 for a couple more rows of mane and a thicker tail to play with! In the 80's we had the Brush n' Grows, and they had so much hair they had to have it ratcheted back into their bodies lots more hair, even with fewer accessories, tht'd be cooler! I think if i got one i'd put a fringe on the RD...the forehead would be much less prominent then

Oh, and Cadance looks much better in that second photo...perhaps the first one was a proto or the camera was ill adjusted.
