Taobao/Ebay Finds - Master Thread

Do little kids even care about DJ Pon3 or is this marketed to the older fan groups?

You'd be surprised! Alot of the younger fans love her and the other background ponies.

I'm not totally surprised there are many kid fans of her, but I wonder if the average kid who likes ponies but isn't an in depth fan would know who she is. My friends 7 and 4 year olds love ponies and talk about them and the cartoon all the time,  but they didn't know who DJ was or Lyra or Dr. Whooves. Why yes, they were looking at my funko ponies. :)

The fans I'm talking about are more in the 9-12 range ^^

my niece is the same. the new sets with the fav background ponies. my niece asks.
"ummm who is that?" and after "are they in the show? where?"

honestly i only noticed them when people started making customs etc. didn't see them at all in the first season. XD but i watch the show for the mane six. if they make good variations of the ponies i like (preferably smaller) i'm good. my niece has 3 candences and is super excited about it.

I think the mane might be a little different than the one SoSilver found before?

Mrrrph.... Another Pinkie.... though, can we really call her Pinkie at this point!? She's a completely different color scheme now. Her body is too dark, same as her mane. The pinks are more magenta, when her body should be a bubblegum hue and her hair a raspberry pink.... Too much red!! And the crystal eyes are back....

My 10 year old niece loves her, she also likes :muffin: Pony, Lyra and BonBon. I think she's "learned" about them through youtube's fanmade videos and her friends at school, as she doesn't speak English yet. (She also thinks that Scootaloo is a boy). She's having very hard time believing that adult males are fans of the show, so she's pretty much oblivious about the whole 'brony' thing.

I love the background ponies and their antics in the background and its fun to make stories for them. And a real crystal pony instead of those ugly ones? I'm in! She looks all tropical.

-INTERNAL SCREAMING-
I want one so bad!!

This raises my hopes that we'll get more crystal ponies. I wonder if she's part of a new (summer-related?) line.

That would be awesome! It would bring some diversity and a great opportunity  to roll in new ponies! I can imagine singles similar to that prototype Pinkie that come with accessories like a beach ball, towel,  or maybe even a pool playset! Knowing hasbro however that must not be the case and the only way you can get her is some expensive set with a bunch of repeats.. :(

Maybe they're just in proto planning now and are just using pinkie's symbol as a tester...A tropical theme would be awesome, but neon is still hot on the fashion runways, so we'll maybe get a new pony like for the Fashion line....ah to wish
