It appears to be an earth pony head in Bubble's color, no eye paint, with the SBRD's 7 rows of hair- on top a vivid purple pegasus body with a rainbow tail! LOL! Giant Rarity!!! :shocked: "Styling Size" Pinkie Pie was said to be nine inches, and 22cm is about 8.6 inches... are we getting a whole set of styling size main six? That would be AWESOME! Although this Rarity's eyes seem a little small/low down in comparison to her head, I hope it's a prototype and they enlarge them a touch if she gets released.

OH I see - you are right, I was confused by your statement. I agree there don't seem to be any new brushable type pony characters on the horizon, which is too bad.
Luckily for me, while I'd love new characters I am not really bothered by repeat characters so long as it is a different pony (ie clear or HUGE or something).
It's funny though- Funko seems to be focusing on non main characters mostly- and people complain just as loudly that they should have done the "mane six" first. Guess it really is hard to please everyone :)

Twist and Silver Spoon are just now coming out in the target set. They're new brushables! Not totally new characters, though.

I liked them, and would like to know a little more about them.So far we've seen several glitter ponies with painted manes and tails--Snips and Snails, the yellow berry pegasus, the purple rainbow-cutie-marked pegasus boy, a proper mold Fluttershy, and a Princess Twilight Sparkle (though now that I think, her crown may have been the only painted part on her). Sometimes the sellers use old pictures- but when you look to see what's available, it is only a couple of easy to find ponies left.

I don't think anyone was suggesting they weren't fakies, given the identical eye colors, but it's interesting that they'd be a different size.They always are a little smaller, i think it has something to do with them having to make a new mold or something.
A seller on ebay has the Totsy eyed, Earth pony Mane 6 on their ebay, and it's pointing towards fakies. They are slightly smaller than normal Fashion styles and they have two rows of hair.

hi, i listed a few on ebay! so that's me. I was going through a few of these are they are made by hasbro for sure. alot of them have the factory numbers or line numbers?? stamped on them and alot don't. The tails are stuck in the hole like any other pony and then have 4 extra spots with a rooted hair feature (like how the mane is).. so theres no need to drill a hole for a tail?? I don't know why anyone would do that since the tails are like all the other generations just the extra added feature, which maybe some sort of test for hasbro's series of ponies in the future? The ponies are the same plastic as the other FS ponies, and same exact hair that is used on the g4 line.
As for the mark up on the ponies, ponies are marked up because I have to make some sort of profit on them. But theres also shipping fees, ebay fees, taobao fees etc so i'm really not making that much in the end off them.

Also I couldn't find any of the fluttershys with factory numbers?? or whatever those are on them. But 4 out of the 5 did. also the Twilight with the numbers is dark purple, where the one without is more of a pinkish purple, which resembles her real color in the toy.
I also read people saying the colors look washed out or something? The pinkie pie is actually the matching pink to the standard version of the toy (and brighter then the target fashion styles I have here in front of me)
Fluttershy is my favorite.. I don't have that many left, but I may consider an army of her lol

Seeing these two together really shows how ugly Fluttershy's new eyes are. She no longer looks as gentle and, well, shy, as she used to, but looks axe-crazy or wired instead...

Also not a fan of the fact that Flutters got yellower. She's supposed to be nice and pale yellow, her original FS doll looks MUCH better.

That would be awesome! It would bring some diversity and a great opportunity to roll in new ponies! I can imagine singles similar to that prototype Pinkie that come with accessories like a beach ball, towel, or maybe even a pool playset! Knowing hasbro however that must not be the case and the only way you can get her is some expensive set with a bunch of repeats.. :(

I can imagine singles similar to that prototype Pinkie that come with accessories like a beach ball, towel, or maybe even a pool playset! Knowing hasbro however that must not be the case and the only way you can get her is some expensive set with a bunch of repeats.. :(

What are the quantities listed of this tropical Pinkie? Unless there are a lot my guess is that she's a prototype that will never be released. Just like with prototype Minty where a few more showed up on TaoBao a year or two after her first appearance. If the crystal eye phase has already passed, it's not likely that they'd bring it back in a future wave.

I wonder though. I'm waiting to see what pony is actually coming with that rainbow castle. It looks like it might be the translucent Princess Twilight that is a similar style to this Pinkie. It's really hard to tell by the promo pic though. Hurry up toy fair!

I think that would depend. In the UK the glitter ponies are twice the price of the regular playful ponies so if she sold poorly here I think it would be directly related to this. And as a store exclusive, it limits people's access to her. I guess it would be better to measure how well Sunset Shimmer sold compared to the other ponies in the wave and for what it's worth, she (and AJ) are the ones I see the least of.
All the brushables seem to sell really well. Sure, for the first couple weeks after there was a new release (like Sunset Shimmer), the new ones go fast. But after that, it seems to even out and everything sells.

I would have to disagree in my area I went to a walmart and they had an entire bin filled with mane 6 and they weren't moving at all, like one of those huge display bins since they didn't have room for them and cleaned them because they weren't selling. All the Sunset Shimmers were gone though, and for the blindbags the cakeset is everywhere while the elements of harmony set is hard to find.

Could easily be a knock off too- there seem to be a lot of them now.Could it be possible that they haven't been put into production yet? (Aside from the ones actually in stores, of course.) Someone in the toy fair thread mentioned that toy fair promo models are sometimes one of a kind, handmade models.

Twilight Velvet, and two different Pepperdances. The paint looks glossy, but I think that might just be from harsh lighting, since there are a few other pictures (including a Mr. Cake) with the same gloss but no obvious wrongness to them. Maybe AJ is just the girl they try out colors on? Twilight Velvet is weird, though, since she'd already been released in the Twilight mold in the glitter wave...

Eh, I've seen...maybe three plushies of Sombra for sale, ever, whereas I saw that many of Cheese Sandwich in the 24 hours after the episode aired. I totally understand putting out a mini of him, he seems to be a fan favorite. They've done like three different Spike figures already. I do agree that it's weird that they haven't done Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo yet though.

So with all the new additions the thread was becoming a little cumbersome. Therefore I am running 6 months of "finds" only. I think that's fair - while there is no set guarantee on Taobao/Ebay finds and the date they will, if they do, hit stores, anything older than 6 months seems unlikely to now show up in some way as a release. And 6 months should be long enough that even if someone does not stop by the thread very often they still will not miss anything.
I have not included any of the known fakies - blind bags or plushies in this list. Just the FS ponies which we are all still a little unsure of. However if I have missed something, posted something incorrectly or anyone has thoughts on the change, pretty please just post here.

RD and AJ's eyes look more to scale then the rest of them have. Rarity is the most noticeable when looking at how small these ponies' eyes are. They look funky. Except AJ and RD don't seem to suffer from this.

I have the Pinkie and Fluttershy (Pinkie has glitter and Fluttershy is translucent). They popped up around 2010 I believe. Only a handful were produced of each and were unfortunately never released and probably won't be...in that form anyways. I'd love it if they decided to make them.

Besides personally just not liking the style and not seeing how it's at all appropriate for FiM, the thing that really irks me is that on these, from those taobao listings there are also pics from other angles and, all those designs mirror over on the non-display side EXCEPT the cutie mark! Hasbro is so stupid sometimes!

I always hear she doesn't test well with the target audience and she's also the least favorite in the adult fandom. I guess it's because she's what some people would call "a country bumpkin". It also doesn't help that her storylines mostly focus on her family and her family business and that she's the least goofy one out of the main cast :/

The tail of the music noted Celestia looks (from all you can see in the various shots from a couple sellers) that it's Rarity tail. The eyes are like the original prototype White Celestia after double checking on mine and I honestly think the wings have been spliced into what was supposed to be Rarity's body which may explain the crudeness. I could be dead wrong, but I think the music notes were maybe thrown in to perplex us all but I can't think of many reasons WHY Celestia of all ponies, would have the music notes randomly on her wing in such a hideous fashion. I don't think I will put too much stock into her being another prototype but have my orders in for her for kicks and giggles and because I may be completely and utterly wrong lol

I finally got my Celestia with the music notes- she actually has the lines and music notes printed on BOTH sides- so maybe they won't be a set after all?
She is, by the way QUITE different than the prototype White Celestia FS- she is missing the green in her hair and her eye is much larger.
She's gone for $40 a couple times on eBay, but that's because that was her starting price. There's another one with a much lower starter ending in about 21 hours, which should provide a better idea of what people want to pay for her, though whether she'll continue to be available at that price thereafter is another question.

Yep she's an fakie. :) I ordered one for my BF Ossie and the plastic is really soft and the neck plug doesnt fit that well. But the hair is of perfect quality!

I managed to resist the group lot (which is a pretty good deal) but I caved and got the knock off Dash and Fluttershy- because they are so cute! I actually like the weird little wings that Hasbro seems to have trotted out for the long-hair Fluttershy and then possibly abandoned... they are weird sure, but not weirder than the other set that seems to grow out of their spine and be terribly misshapen. They actually did a great job with the Zilla wings so I wish everyone would start copying those...

I was on eBay the other day and saw a listing for a figure that looked like a G4 blind bag, and was described as being 2 inches. It was orange with dark pink hair, and Fluttershy's eyes. Blank flank. The odd thing about it is that it had a molded, unpainted saddle and a stick stuck through it like a carousel pony! It had a peg on top rather than a continuation of the stick, as if it would clip onto a carousel of some sort. The legs were in G4 style, and the body was on scale with the head, so I think the body (saddle and stick and peg and all) is an official mold. It was in China, so is it a prototype? Or is it like an accessory I've never heard of? I don't know what to think...This?
