Thanks for the input Aurora! I've had more nice target employees than mean ones, but have never had such an issue getting toys before! they also kept calling them collectable items so maybe they're onto the FiM popularity.

I was thinking about asking, but I think I can wait until the 30th. When they run out of a particular toy that was just released, they usually immediately order more, don't they?

My Target is getting there. They just put out the wedding singles and trading cards and have the dvds and talking Celestia on clearance.

the target I went to a week ago was very empty in the toy isle, with clearance on everything. Maybe they will restock this weekend.

My Target had things on Clearance when I went last Sunday.  The toy aisle worker also pulled out the FS Princess Cadence and Shining Armor for me since I had the dcpi, so I guess it depends on the worker and the store.

I always try to keep things in perspective.  While it is frustrating when an employee won't grab something from the back when it pulls up as in stock, I always assume that a certain store policy is in play and I try to never blame the employee.  I worked retail for about 7 years total and there's just o e rules about checking stock that cannot be worked around.  The same applies to pulling stock and putting stuff on hold.

July 29th will be here before we know it, right, guys?  :)

Is this the set of all the girls plus Spike in their little outfits?  The overly large set?  I saw that today at Target in Georgia, and no, it did not appear to be on clearance. It was marked at 30.

In this same Target in Atlanta, GA, I found the Rainbow Set, but nothing else new.  Nearly all of the normal ponies were gone, lots of empty pegs.  Nothing was actually on clearance, though.

From what we've seen so far.... the FS Shining Armor and Cadance set, the rainbow mini figure (blinnd bag) set, the three 3-pack mini figure sets, and the 3 plushies
