Are CMC considered G4 or G4.5 or both? If both, does anyone know which sets belong to G4.5?

Do you mean the Cutie Mark Crew?
I consider it to be both. Most have eyes that are black beads with a single eyelash and were released post-reboot G4. There was a small lull, and then a few were released with G4.5 style eyes later on. I guess it's like a Ponyville situation where it bridges a gap. Unless I'm misremembering, there's only one set with the new eyes.

I think it's called Unicorn Party or something like that. It's the only set I've found so far that has the new eyes anyway.
The only thing that's really changed on them is the eyes. Otherwise the molds are the same.

I tried to find the party hats and when I looked it seemed like those were only available in Canada (I think they were listed as a TRU exclusive and they'd just gone out of business in the states). I could be wrong but I know I've never found them anywhere I've looked here.
