Title: I got my grail Thundercloud
Post by: SkyCakes on December 25, 2020, 12:03:04 PM
I was able to acquire my grail Thundercloud I know hes a bit baity but I didnt care. Hes handsome and he needs a pony spa day. I also complted the set of the HQG1C rhythm sisters. They all look fantastic together. I know two of them were simular to the mail orders scribble and dabble. That is why I purchased them and I didnt wanna forget their sisters so they are all a happy family.I also was able to buy some Mashems that were classic collector pose ponies Im missing two of them so back to the store I go lol.

thank you all for the kind words.
I know he is bait and I just couldnt pass him up. I wonder if I should repaint his symbol or just leave it?? :/ I know that purple ponies dont sunfade that well so I will leave the rest of his marks alone.

Congrats!! If you do try to paint his symbol and don't like it, you can always wipe it off :)

Oooo he may be "baity" but he doesn't look that bad?  Maybe a "spa treatment" will help him.  Like starrynights says, if you use certain paints it can be removed with water (or alcohol??) without damaging the factory paint.  I don't know who best to ask about it, except I always just direct people to my little pony preservation project, it is my go-to for pony "first aid"  Regardless...congrats for getting him!

And nice haul of HQG1C ladies!!

Nice!!  He really doesn’t look that bad. With a wash and maybe some hairstyling (maybe a re-hairing if it’s been cut) he’ll look great!!

thanks I think I do the best I can for him even when I saw his cancer marks and pen marks. He maybe well played with and loved.
