I am not an expert in nirvanas but I know there are a few people on here who know a lot about them! Strawberryreef would be a good source for identifying nirvana if that helps! As of rareness, I would say that any South African ponies like Bubbles and firefly, are probably in the top 20 rare nirvanas as they go for $900+

Thanks so much for your response! That is crazy! There must be very few of them! I want to buy the newer g1 guide. I got " the world of my little pony" by debra birch. Its helpful and nicely done but out of date.

I'm 30 years old. I'm from Arkansas USA. I am a stay at home mom with one daughter and a loving husband. I am just starting collecting. I am a G1 collector. I got interested in collecting after watching the toys that made us special and seeing how many ponies there are! I never realized how many beautiful variants were made! My sister and I played with mlp all through our childhood. She had a orange pony named Madison and I had a baby blue pony named Baby Bop. They were our stars and each day we would make up new adventures and our room was it's own world! I just learned that "madison" was actually a boy pony called wigwam! We had no clue lol. Anyway I hope one day collecting can be a fun activity for me and my daughter when shes old enough. She is one right now. I'm glad to be in the forum and look forward to learning more from the pony community! Hello all! Xoxo Peaches
