They are all super cute and looks really well made!  ^.^

Curious - have you made them from scratch or remade existing ponies?

So glad to hear you are still at it!  :) Best of luck!

I'm excited to see what you come up with. I've been doing basically the same thing but using CAD to design and 3d print a takara pony. I haven't done anything in awhile but its a fun project :)

Here's my batch of 3d printed cuties so far.

I think its always awesome to see other peoples interpretations of them :)

Super cute!! ^.^

I like the idea. Would probably not buy, but if they are original and cute, there should be a market?

I think they look great, I especially like the vest! :)

Just a thaught - if you are going to make more accessories for the vest-outfit - how about trying a slightly different colour nuance? Since the vest it´s not the exact same shade as the hair, that would probably make it a nice shade pallet as a whole? :)

I love the idea of G1-princess plushies! Turned out really nice with a G4-ish style! :)

And Gummy is just too adorable!

Makes me wish I had some space for the sewing machine!

Wow, I love all the customs! Incredably well made!  ^.^

Of this series I want Baby Diamond the most (because of the pose/direction of my collection) but I like the other two sisters aswell. Hope to be able to get them soon! :)

Thank you so much for the info!  :)

It could definately be a good option! Only thing is I think he isn´t the type who likes to display things, rather play with them (the like 10 minutes it would take an adult to get tired of a kids toy  >_< ). But I am not likely to get the coolest action toy on that budget anyway, so it might still be the best/easiest thing for a thaughtful V-day gift.

Even though it´s me who is the collector (only MLP) my boyfriend gets even more excited than me when going to toy stores.  ;)
So I thaught I would give him a toy or toy-related plushie for V-day instead of the standard gifts.

I have some options so it´s more a matter of finding something atleast a little bit suitable for V-day and something that would be a little bit "extra", and that I am not too familiar with some of the stuff he´s interested in.
By "extra" I think I mean either that it is spot on combo V-day/cool action toy, or as cool toy as possible for the budget (guys standard).

Budget is around 20-30$ but could be interesting with a bit higher aswell since B-day is coming up next month!

He actually likes the "Friendship is magic" series so if I do not come up with something else I could go for a G4.
But I think he is more into Turtles (new version, don´t remember the name) and Marvel stuff like Batman etc. He is very into comics, draws comics himself.

If there are any similar guys here - what would you have wanted to get as a gift?
Or just give me some ideas and inspiration, please!

That is awesome, congrats!
Know the feeling, finally getting a job, usually after you started to think it would be impossible! ;)

Pony Corral / Re: Would you buy a Pony with cancer spots?
« on: January 30, 2015, 10:35:36 AM »
So sorry this happened to you! :( Must be painful to go wait for a favourite pony and end up with a pony with big flaws! *hugs*

I have had a similar incident on an auction site. The pic was borrowed, I e-mailed the seller since I suspected it was, to ask for details, had a reply that said something like this; "good used conditions, just a few hair straws cut".
Ended up with a pony with 1/3 of the mane completely cut off, many pony cancer spots, bad -well just about everything. I was fortunate to still have got it for a good price (popular pony) just not as good as I had hoped, and the hassle to re-sell since I wouldn´t want it in my own collection, too picky. But I saw that two other buyers from the same seller was very unhappy. (the auctions ended at the same time so you couldn´t tell before they arrived.)
But I think I was right from the start; the less described/visualised in the auction- the less I´d be willing to pay.

I have neither and they are not on a "must have"-list, but sure, I would like to own them eventually some day far away in the future (or if I´d be lucky and find them as a bargain).
I think lil´Cupcake is the very cutest of the two, but I like them as a set aswell. :)
