Al-ahmar and African Elephant

Alahmar means "the bay" in Arabic and I hope I got the translation right as it is written down the leg. Based off a arabian horse in tradition arab horse attire. Arbrushed, sculpted with apoxie scuplt and hand painted. Accented with hand made tassels, reins and rhinestones. Next time I'm going to sculpt the tassels, these where a pain to do. Tail is poseable so can be down or up in the arabian way.  I tried making the eyes look real.  Trimmed the bangs a little to short, darn dull scissors.

Oooh I love them both! Especially the arab - my next horse will probably be part or full arab. And I have a small collection of elephant figurines, so would be awesome to have that one as well! I hope I get the job I just interviewed for before these two sell! I would love to have both of them!

Exquisite as always! I love the Arabian's gear and the posable tail was such a clever idea. I've always loved your realistically painted animal customs and Loxodonta is no exception, also the airbrushed scenery is perfect with the birds as a focal point. Love!
