alright so, lowdown.

I've got a few Pullip dolls that have accumulated over the years, and recently I noticed I've been feeling a bit....detached.
Quite simply, I don't care about their characters anymore. This makes sense to me, I promise.

But. At the same time, I have the perfect amount to make a dolly lineup of my Wonderwhirl girls (and bloke).
So given enough elbow grit, I could customise them and be happy.

(ps i am fairly decent at this just fyi)

Thing is though. They're not exactly bait. And I know some people get really up in arms about doing anything to a less-than-atrocious doll.
And there's one or two that I like too much to do anything to, but not enough to keep, but aren't mint either because I have a habit of tweaking things in everything I have. Tiny things, like extra lashes or something.

So basically.
WHAT DO I DO HELP ME

and maybe would anyone be interested in an adsiltia that's got a nice curvy obitsu on her? or selling tiphona's stock outfit?

I would say it depends on which dolls you have. I know Tiphona is hugely popular (her stock too!)

i've got Craziia (wih redone lips) a slightly banged-up Missionary, a faceplate-redone-rewigged-rechipped RIDa, rewigged Uncanricky with damaged stock, Grell, rewigged Peter Pan, rewigged-rechipped Tezca, and a nice Adsiltia. Most of them have been rebodied.
Most likely sell Adsiltia and get a Tiphona. Maybe. IDK. Depends. Maybe sell Tezca too and get an Isul,because I like their face better.

Craziia is pretty sought after, as is Grell and possibly Uncanricky too. I'm not sure about the others, but personally I'd avoid customising those 3. That being said, they're your dolls so feel free to do whatever you want with them!

I know I have seen a few people with Uncanricky on their wantlists. You could always try to work out a trade (maybe +$) with someone for a bait pullip to customize. I would say, put out a couple feeler posts here and on the Dolly Market forum and customize what doesnt sell.

Problem is, because I am kind of careless with things and also an idiot, some stock pieces are kind of...missing? or damaged? or something

So basically the question is whether people would be willing to buy less-than-100% dolls off me...

Some people might be interested even if the things you're selling aren't in 100% perfect condition as long as you can make clear what's wrong. You may want to at least make a feeler post or two and see if anyone would be willing to take what you have as-is, and if no one is, then modify away~

You have to register and make 15(?) posts and then PM the admin Kanamai to open the buy/sell/trade part of the forum for you. It sounds like a hassle, but it's so worth it to shop Pullip/Blythe/BJDs!
