Title: Where do people find things now?

It used to be if I was looking for something recent that didn't appear in my area and eBay let me down I could make a post in wanted and usually someone who had them in their area was willing to help me get them. That's how I was able to obtain my baby Hippogriffs. But now I put up a post and get nothing but crickets. Where have all the helpful people gone?

I mean, looking at your last wanted post...I haven't seen the potion blind bags since the winter reset. My Target has abysmal pony sections and I've just been getting all my stuff online and elsewhere. The distribution really wound down and a lot of what I find now in the retail wild is old stock at Five Below and other outlet stores. It probably doesn't help that a lot of people on here don't like the Pony Life figures and also don't feel safe going into stores. Mix of issues.

Honestly, if it doesn't show up at Five Below or Target, I probably miss things, but I also go shopping frequently so I still fill holes. I almost missed out on the potion princess Cadance, but I just found her at Gabe's a little bit ago. Really, outlet stores like that are the secret sauce as of right now. I haven't seen any blind bags there, but as far as mid-range sets and such go, I have more luck there than anywhere else.

i don't go into stores to browse and wander anymore because of COVID .  I haven't bought a toy off a shelf in well over a year.

distribution is bad because of COVID .

shipping prices are insane because of COVID .

Ah that's true about Covid messing things up. I haven't actually been inside a store in over a year. I was just hoping that maybe people who work in more essential industries would have had their second shot and gained immunity by now. I'm finally getting my first shot this week after all so hopefully I'll be able to check local stores in person.

I too have only bought online since COVID if not before. This place helped a great deal, as did people's online shops...

I also use eBay & Etsy a load
