I recently got a G3 Twirlerina from a thrift store. I was doing a round of pony cleaning, scrubbed her with soap and washed her hair. When it came to condition and comb her hair out, her tail held up just fine. When I got to her mane though, the dark pink hair in her forelock just came right out. I was horrified. Two swipes and she's suffering from mare pattern baldness. The light pink in her mane - the same hair as her tail - was just fine. The tinsel in the dark pink part of her mane didn't come out, either. Just the hair.


I quickly went to grab the other Twirlerina I have, and yes, she too is suffering from exploding dark pink hair. I had never noticed this before. Is this a known issue with this pony?? I know there are some G3 ponies that are known to have poor quality hair that falls apart in time. I guess Twirlerina is one of them. Check on yours!

I unironically LOVE the donkey pose. It's so dorky and cute. Might be partially attributed to the fact that g3 Minty was one of my first ponies.

So I recently designed this gal as my new Ponysona, Oakleaf Creek.


When drawing her I tried to give her a long droopy snoot like a moose, and sort of "floppy" side-set ears. Among her design inspirations are G3 Autumn Skye, and G1 Oakly the Moose (whom I will sell my soul for as you can see in my signature). Last night, I had an absolutely genius thought: make Oakleaf Creek a moose.


And so it was. She's still a pony when the situation calls for it, like for adoptable templates or when I feel like drawing her that way. But her true form is MOOSE. And yes, she has antlers because she is a maximum butch gal. So, she's technically a pony friend. A moose pony. Moony.


Do you have any non-pony/pony friend OCs? I don't think I've seen many, if any at all! We should start a trend. More non-pony ponies!

Ponies labelled “haircut” have had a bit of a trim to their manes or tails to some degree. A “mild” haircut would be just a light trim, making the hair noticeably shorter than it was originally but not distractingly so. Once again, you’ll see in photos.

Last year there was a line of toys released from Moose called Little Live Pets. As far as I know there are butterflies and birds, and the birds are beautifully designed! Very bright and colorful, and their bodies are flocked. They can also record things you say to them and repeat them back in a pitched-up voice, which is hysterical. I have "Angelic Angela" but I call her Tilly.

I think they have great collectible value, because even if their electronic components die, they're very nice to look at and play with on their own! Not that I have, heh, and this year they're releasing a bunch of new styles and even a mom and baby pair! (Look there's even a Starshine! )

The singles are pretty cheap, about $10 each (unless the prices have gone up since the new releases.) I think they're great and I really love the owl pair, I think I found a new thing to collect! Has anyone else discovered these?

When I was little, I would sometimes take my SS Ribbon to bed with me. She was probably my favorite pony back then, and she still is one of my favorites. As I got older, she graduated to sitting on the bedside table. Her main purpose was to keep nightmares away. Even nowadays, if I've had some sort of scare, I'll put her on my bedside table again.
