So I made myself an Etsy account a while ago and I wanted to sell some crafts and art pics but I'm a complete noob and don't know where to begin, set prices, etc. If any of you have Etsy accounts that are pro's at selling things, can you give me(and probably others) some tips? Like how to set your prices? Shipping and handling, scammers, and other stuff. Anything you can share for newcomers and how to avoid making mistakes would be great. I really apologize for being the dumbest person alive who has still trouble with the measurements but I need some help, it's about the plastic washer sizes.  I want to order them so I can get started for my custom ponies but I don't know what size I need for the G1 ponies and I always get mixed up with cm, mm, etc.(I only know inches and foot but the rest? Forget it as I always struggle with that when I was a kid). Just link to any specific art pieces you'd like us to look at, they can be from any social media. It's just set up that way so that the mods don't have to search all your social media for relevant art.

I finally finished the headshots of G1 Collector Chibi Ponies. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginI started this fun project back in March 2016(four years ago to be exact  ) and I just finished Butterscotch yesterday. I was able to make the banner pic I just showed you for all of them together. :3 What I enjoy about the pics is that it gave me a practice of hairstyles, backgrounds, and outfits(I'm planning to change Blue Belle's outfit since I didn't like it too much). Hello all! I’ve being trying to pull together a group of artists to participate in an art zine themed around the g1 ponies we love, and I figured there was no better place to check than here! We currently have an interest check open just to gauge if this is a worthwhile project or not, but I’m really hoping we can create something wonderful <3 !

I saw it on Tumblr thanks to paradise-estate(or was it a different G1 MLP tumblr blog? I forgot which since I followed a lot of them ) so I followed your zine and just recently followed you on Twitter. :3 I'm defiantly interested. If you don't mind me asking, what are the rules? Such as do you allow humanized ponies? Do you allow mature art? etc.? What's allowed and what's not? Because I was browsing and there wasn't any rules so that's why I'm asking. If you can answer that would be great.

So few months ago, I was browsing on Ebay to buy myself some more G3 ponies and I was lucky enough to buy three for a deal. :3 I got Snow'el I, Minty, and Sapphire Shores. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginLast month, I went to Cracker Barrel to eat since it's been two years that I went there but it was packed so I ended up shopping at the store instead. Good thing to because I found the Retro G1 Rainbow Ponies(Year 3 version) along with Strawberry Shortcake Retro toys. It took me awhile to decide but I ended up buying Starflower and Orange Blossom. :3 visitors can't see pics , please register or loginI still want to eat their pancakes though. ;3; That's my whole reason why I went there but I guess that's what I get for arriving at busy lunch rush. At least I was able to buy the retro toys in the end.

I wouldn't mind doing a postcard pen pal as I always loved postcards when I was a kid and send them to my relatives. :3 Sometimes I would send in little trinkets as well if it's a letter.

I took them out before putting them back in so I didn't think of comparing sizes till you suggested. But I have to wait till I get back home since we just evacuated from the hurricane. I put my ponies in safe place but I'll bring them back out for size comparison after Dorian leaves(we're hoping it'll turn north instead of hitting Florida but then again, weather people are not always right).
Yes, mine arrived!  They're pretty much exactly the size of a G4.
I hope you stay safe! I hear the weather is just awful. 
Sweet! I'm glad yours finally came! Now we know they're same size but I'm going to do a photo comparison for my DA account when I get home, hopefully it'll be there and if Dorian will quit taking it's sweet @$$ time hovering at Bahamas to move away towards north(I'm hoping it'll go Floyd as it was about to hit Florida but changed the direction at the last minute. I'm hoping the same for Dorian). It's starting to move so my state won't have to suffer too much damage, especially the eyewall. :/ My brother and his wife is staying and watching our house as well as looking after my stepfather's fish. Oh yikes! Stay safe.

Autumn Blaze is one of my favorite FIM characters. I'm hoping they'll make more episodes of her before the show ends. Or at least in the comics.

The ponies still don't look like G1. Sorry Hasbro.
That's the reason why I kept the box because I'm such a sucker for beautiful fantasy 80's pastel artwork style. :3 They also inspired me to draw G1 MLP fanart. The toys defiantly look more like G3 than G1. I'm kinda confused why they couldn't use the G1 mold like they did for re releases G1 ponies. :/

I pre ordered the set two months ago and nearly forgot about it till it came. I was actually waiting for my other packages which is my Prismacolor Cool Grey Marker set and Copic Skin Tones Marker set as it arrives today(I'm trying to get back to traditional art since I'm too dependent on Photoshop) when it came into a big box. I brought it inside expecting to see my marker sets which it is but behind them is my Retro FIM ponies! I love my new IKEA Detolf shelves they're full glass, so if you have a sunny room you might want to get some UV film for them.
I'm going to make some risers, so that you can see all the ponies. (and also, the Detolfs don't come with lighting, but I got IKEA Ledberg in a 4 pack and put 2 in each cabinet)
They're also fairly inexpensive - been wanting to get these shelves for SO many years, haha, but finally got them a couple days ago ^^
needless to say, the display is a bit messy at the moment. they had just been unpacked out of the boxes they were in when we moved houses... in March...

Ooh, that shelf looks good. :3 Something like that I would like to get for my ponies. And I love your collection. That is a lot of Lemondrops you got there! I also noticed you got a Pretty Pony(I have one too). :3 I personally like billy shelves from ikea because they are SOOO versatile. (I'm always drooling when I see people have a wall of them.). And you can put glass doors on them, and glass shelves.

I'm buying other furniture for my house, so solutions for my collections are pretty far low on the totem poll. gotta get cute mid century stuff first.
Oh, that one is good too although it's got a lot of anime merch there(I only have one anime merch which is a chibi Sailor Mars). I wanted one of those Madoka's figures!

First things first is that I wanted to let everyone know that I finished paying my student loans off last month(it's one of the main reasons why I didn't go this years MLP Fair and Con) so I can start house hunting this year and get my own place. My old storage cabinet is getting too small for my ponies and I ran out of room.  I wanted to shop a display cabinet so I can store my ponies when I get my place(I'm hoping to buy a house later this year, hopefully). What do you guys recommend the good ones? And while your at, show me the displays of your collection. :3
