Happy Thursday! This week we'll be featuring birthday ponies and other random pony goodness!
Do you have her? What do you think of her? Share some more pics!
I had two of her. One was gifted to my BFF. Was fortunate enough to find both of them at the fair a few years back. I know she's more common over the pond so I was stoked to find two of her in the US.

I don't have NC Sundance, I'm not sure if I'll seek her out. Depends on if there's a big variation or something.

Pass. I would have preferred SS Sundance, but ended up with Loyal Subjects Sundance.

I already have a couple country (is that what they are called?) Sundances, so I'm probably not going to seek her out, but she'd stay in my herd if I found her.

I'd say the others are HK Sundances, since whatever the NC ones are, they're not from HK. I still believe she's Chinese, and her box backs that up, but evidence is slim otherwise.
I think I have two or three. One has no symbol. Not sure if she always had no symbol but think it likely as she's otherwise the best condition of my three. The other two are distinct enough for me to feel one is probably from 1986 and one from 1987 but I don't know which way around they officially go.

I have never found a HK Sundance here, but NC Sundance is very common as she was our standard issue. I didn't have a HK Sundance for a long time, till one turned up in a lot from the US and I kept her.
One NC pony who should never be called Nirvana :)

Yep! Got a NC Sundance and I love her! :heart:
She was one of my very first G1 Ponies :D
I'd love to have other versions of her especially a Twice As Fancy!

I had two of her, but gave one to my friend. I have HK Sundance and baby Sundance as well. And also an alternate rehair, who I really love.

I have two....and a half? I love the soft pink of her hair, and her pose is one of my favourites! Have a couple of the dolly mix ones too. One is curly, the other not so! The left was from a carboot, princess from Facebook, and right was given to me by a wonderful friend years ago ^.^

What's special about NC Sundance aside from what's under her hoof? I have HK Sundance and NC Sundance looks the same to me.

There are minor differences - she tends to have thinner or lighter hair, and the eye paint can be different too. But it's not a major variation and probably not worth pursuing unless you're really into those kinds of variations.

I have several Sundances, but don't know where they're from. They're in storage. I didn't intend to have so many, but she's sort of like Peachy, almost one in every lot I buy.

Ah interesting. Yeah a pony need to be at least a different size or body/hair color for me to keep it if I already have a different version.
Also, I totally agree about Sundance
I have never owned an original Peachy but have owned multiple Sundance.

She looks a bit more like she's done a long night shift, queued in mcdonalds at dawn and then crawled into the stable, rather than bright and breezy and ready to play with Megan. At least, her expression does....

I don't have the NC version but I do have Sundance. She's always seemed so sweet to me for some reason. Just a sweet, happy pony lol

I always wanted a Sundance as a kid (never had one though). Now I have two, a regular Sundance and a So Soft Sundance.

I got the set as a child. They were very special to me. But I don’t know if mine was no country.
