Pony Corral / Re: Weird experiences with other generations as a kid
« Last post by Caysie on Today at 04:47:19 AM »I remember the G1 and the cartoons when I was a teenager. I had a friend with a little sister and she was totally obsessed with the G1 when it was the big thing in the -80s. Of course, we then also had the opportunity to watch VHS tapes with the ponies.
I actually enjoyed the stories, it wasn't as bad as a guy of that age would think. It was cute somehow.
The years passed, and quite a while later I saw DVD movies in the grocery store with ponies. So couldn't resist buying one of every episode I found in the pile. It was "My Little Pony Tales" and I remember it being completely different from the previous G1 movies I had seen.
But it was so cute, it was in my own language so my little daughter loved it. And we probably watched those movies 1000's of times over and over again.
