I'll be going into the nearest big city soon, I'll see if I can get a couple of postcards for big Scottish attractions (Edinburgh Castle, the Kelpies, Fairy Pools) and some leaflets as well!

That would be amazing Lady Frostbite! Thankyou so much :)

Anywhere outside of Victoria Australia is fine Lady Frostbite :) we are teaching the children about different parts of Australia as well as the world. We have started off basic, places some of the children have visited or showing an interest in, then introducing new places.

Any help would be greatly appreciated slyons :)

Hi all,

I haven't been overly active lately due to work and health related issues, however, I work with around 50 3 - 4 year old children in Victoria, Australia. Currently, my little ones have been very interested in geography due to a few of them having recent trips overseas as well as my assistant spending a week in NZ.

I would love to ask the help of anyone in other states (if in Australia) or from overseas if you could possibly send a couple of postcards or pamphlets for local attractions? If you could possibly help out in any way I am sure the children would all be very appreciative :)

Feel free to leave a message here if you can help or send me a pm and I can provide postage details.

I have 4 cats, Winston a fluffy white Chinchilla who is around 8 year old now (came to us at 6), Pat a short haired 13 year old Tabby (came to us at 11), Possum a 7 month old short haired Callico (brought her as a 8 week old kitten for my dad for Christmas as I had to put his Callico girl down earlier last year at around 17ish) and our most recent addition, Faith a little 6 month old short haired Tabby with one eye. She was pucked up on Friday and settled in well with the others.

Lastly Saturday I picked up my work pet, Tank a neverland dwarf bunny. She is the sweetest little girl, and will be coming home with me on nights and weekends. Shes mainly white with grey ears, grey around her muzzle and some grey  on her back near her butt. Her parents are both apparently champion show bunnies, personally I don't care as I just wanted a bunny with a great personality and she is personality plus.

This woman is a nightmare, block her immediately!

I sold a furby and care bear to her, and she stated apparently the care bear wasn't working, which was total bs, as I tested it before sending off and it was fine. Anyway, offered full refund on return, she left me a negative instead.

I had a bad feeling about her, but gave her the benefit of the dbout. The day I posted, she accused me of the items being "damaged", BEFORE they even arrived! Absolute nutcase! Avoid at all costs!

I was supposed to go out night clubbing with some mates but wound up staying at home with pneumonia, bronchitis, tonsillitis, sinus infection, an ear infection and fluid on my middle ear instead. I am glad in a way I chose to stay in as im really unwell, and my mates didn't miss out they went anyway.

Also one of my tabbies I learned hates fireworks, the other 3 didn't care but he really freaked so I spent about an hour giving him cuddles to settle him down. Such an odd animal Pat is, I love him to bits but he has so many quirks, like farting and having an obsession with gluten free bread.

I live in Australia, and halloween isn't a huge thing over here. However its my favourite thing to celebrate. I love decorating my centre at work (I work in childcare, run my own toddler room & also 2nd in charge under the owner / director) the kids love it. I LOVE dressing up, im doing a boat cruise for halloween with my best mates this year and going as a zombie. For work I don't know yet, maybe a toned down zombie lol.

I met my bestie through work. We have always had a very rocky relationship as we constantly fight but its healthier than keeping that crap bottled up. We worked directly with each other for a while, then I left the job after a fight with higher management  (im a bit of an aggressive person when I feel the need) and we've kept pretty close.

Ive been out of the old job for over 12 months and we are always working out our spare time around each other. We rarely do anything on our own, if one needs their nails done we both go, or shopping
, or anything really from looking for new clothes to getting tattoos or piercings.

Although we have a roller coaster type relationship we both move on quickly and I think we are much stronger for it. Really our friendship is healthier than most relationships without the living together and stuff.

I think part of the reason we tolerate each other is we normally level each other out, and were both bitches that hate everyone. I love her to bits, and know it doesn't matter if she is angry with me, if I need her she will be there for me.

I have had my own vehicle since I could legally drive myself around at 17. Ive had a ute (pick up truck) for around 8 years thats my primary mode of transportation. I don't do public transportation if I can avoid it. I hate it.

I never get a lift, and occasionally catch a taxi if im drinking. I don't own a bike, and im generally too far away to walk (im around 30kms from work, and main shops are a bit of a distance from home when carrying items home)

I have unfortunately started collecting these, they are way too cute. I'm missing a few and was wondering if any of you pony people collect or would like to trade or possibly sell your doubles. Im after about 24 different normal ones and happy to give a list to anyone that is up for a trade or sale.

If you are after certain ones I have a heap of doubles too so let me know what you are after and ill see if I can help you :)

Off Topic / Re: How long is your commute to work or school?
« on: April 26, 2015, 01:58:55 AM »
I chose 30 - 60 mins as generally to get to work its approx 20 mins, sometimes a little longer, and approx 40 mins to 1hr home as the traffic is terrible. Im on earlies most days, so makes sense its quicker to get to work than coming back.

My old job I was literally 5 mins from home, hated it so much I didn't mind the commute to my new job.

Off Topic / Re: Your worst work story!
« on: April 02, 2015, 03:44:36 PM »
I don't have one story but many smaller ones. I worked security for years, and when I started out I did a lot of bouncing and event type work. I have been scratched, pissed on, spat on and even had to perform cpr on an od at a concert.

I now work in childcare, so the nasty stuff gets worse lol. On a very regular basis (sometimes daily, but sometimes I may have a day or two incident free) I have been vomited on (yesterday was the last vomit that landed directly on me) urinated on, sometimes I have been pooped on, I also work with quiet a few additional needs children which I absolutely love, but at times they can and will lash out. Its rare a day goes by I am not hit, kicked, scratched or bitten. I had one do all that in the space of a couple of minutes yesterday whilst I tried to change his nappy. Unfortunately most of the girls I work with have no idea how to handle these children, they are either scared of them or can be too confronting for them which can make a bad situation esculate quickly.

I think the worst few moments were being projectile vomited on, and pretty much my front from the neck down, including my arms, was covered in vomit. I vomited myself once trying to clean poo out of a pair of undies. Nobody should have to do that, and if I was a parent I feel the jocks would go straight in the bin. And lastly I had one child rip their nappy off and swing it around their head like a lassoo, I have never been so glad NOT to see poo in a nappy before or after.
