Reopened!

After the success of my G2 art thread I thought I would open up some adoptables. For the time being, I only have an Ivy-inspired base avaliable but Sweet Berry and Morning Glory esque bases as seen in my art thread will be avaliable soon! These are completely made by me with their art style heavily drawn from G2, because G2 is adorable.

You can pick from the first set of eyes, inspired by G2 artwork, and the second set which is inspired by the G2 toys. Her bracelet is optional. These are bases 1 and 2 respectively.

.:Rules and Guidelines:.
  • I will happily do any body colour and pattern you can throw at me. Please be aware that regardless of where you are in the queue, simpler requests will be done before more complex ones. If I find it too difficult, you can request another pony.
  • I am not the world's best scratch spriter, so the same applies to cutie marks. I will do my very best but please understand I'm doing all this on a touchpad, not even a mouse, so more complex cutie marks may come out dodgy at best.
  • I can happily do two coloured and tri coloured hair, like Ivy seen above and other Gen 2 ponies like Light Heart. I can do different colours on the forelock, the three mane sections and the two tail sections. If you would like more colours than that or arranged differently, or gradient hair/dipped hair, please be patient with me. Like body colour, simpler requests will be done first.
  • Hasbro ponies or OC ponies are equally accepted.
  • If it is an OC pony, references are loved, even if they are only in the form of another adoptable. It will be very difficult for me to accurately represent your OC unless she's very simple if I don't have any form of reference. I don't even mind if you badly photoshop some hasbro artwork to show me, a visual guide is ten times better than a description.
  • Lastly, have fun, don't remove my credit (if you want something smaller, let me know) and please be patient with me. I wish I had endless time to sprite ponies, but unfortunately, I don't. Sometimes real life will get in the way, but I will try to keep everyone as updated as possible. I'm sure this is a board rule already, but don't hog the slots. I'll only do one pony per person at a time, and unless I'm sitting here requestless for weeks try to let other people go before you go again.

If you're OCD about the colour of your pony I am totally cool with accepting hex codes for the colour sections of the forum. You don't need to fill out the rest of the forum if you have a very good reference, but every detail helps.

Sora - yours is done and in pickups in the first post! I relented and tried out wings. I'm sorry the gradient isn't too great, I can easily remove the wings if you don't like them. If you have any issues please let me know, I'm happy to fix them (I am a spriter, I love to improve, crit away) I'm afraid the wings aren't Gen 2-esque because Gen 2 didn't have any traditional pegasi! Only huge glowy winged alicorns that aren't the traditional wings at all.

Heathersmoo - Light Heart is nearly done, however I noticed the cutie mark in your reference was incorrect for canon Light Heart. Would you like the cutie mark in your reference, or the one Light Heart has canonically?

The wings look great to me! I've been meaning to add a non-gradient version to her reference anyway, but this looks fantastic. Thank you! :D

That keychain is the only G2 I have and for some reason, that's the symbol on it.  It is up to you which you want to do, I am happy either way:)

MikeysGrrl is done, sorry I couldn't get any more ponies done today, been very long and tiring day. As usual any problems with it MikeysGrrl let me know.

As I'm still restricted to a daily post limit, you might find I update the pickups without replying to the thread, so keep an eye out on the pickups.

Hello guys!

My laptop has unfortunately a broken dc jack and is being taken to repair tomorrow but I don't know how long it will take or if I can afford it right now.

I'll try to get another one done on my boyfriend's laptop or at college next week if it's still out.

Its a Samsung R730 and its been a very reliable beast, its just this kind of problem happens in three year old laptops like mine through normal usage. Just come at a time when I'm very short of funds for getting it repaired

I have a 2006 Macbook. For it being 8 years old, I've really had no issues with it. I've had horrible luck with chargers, though. (I'm rough on them.)

That is ALWAYS how it goes! No money, something goes wrong. Bah!

Hello all! Got one done tonight on the boyfriend's laptop. May do another later =) Sprinkles she's in the pickups, any problems let me know, I'm never very good with gradients x3

Still no idea when I'll have my laptop fixed, so after this lot of adoptables I'll go on hold for a while. I'll DEFINITELY be back though when my laptop is finally fixed!

I'm glad everyone is happy!

I am now officially on hold. Scrub-adub, your adopt will be done, but not for some time. I am very busy with coursework deadlines and a show all this week, and I still am without a laptop. I am definitely not closing for good though!

I am now officially on hold. Scrub-adub, your adopt will be done, but not for some time. I am very busy with coursework deadlines and a show all this week, and I still am without a laptop. I am definitely not closing for good though!

Houston- if you right click the picture you can copy the link and simply paste it between [img] tags [\img] in your signature or wherever you like.

Unfortunately it is with a very heavy heart that I am going to have to close these indefinitely. My laptop is completely unfixable and I just cannot afford a new laptop right now. I'm distraught and disappointed. I'm very sorry to those who missed out. I loved doing these adopts and hopefully I can reopen sometime later in the year.

Brittany, yours can be done with 4 tone hair (like Marigold) or 3 or 2 tone, if you'd rather. Glasses are also optional.

That's no problem, did you want 4 stripes, or 5 stripes? I think 6 is a bit of a squeeze. (On pickups, Marigold has 4 stripe and Fairytale has 5)
