How To Tame Glitter Pony Hair?
« on: January 28, 2020, 06:05:29 AM »
It's been a long time since I've gotten this pony so I can't quite remember the series name that she's from so I'm just going to call her "Twilight Sparkle glitter pony". G4's usually have troublesome hair but I've been having an extra hard time with this ones, any advice on how to tame "glitter" hair? Using a brush is kind of just ripping all the glittery bits out....

Oh, you need to work with it wet with conditioner for sure. I would ditch the brush and get a comb, too. Makes it much easier to start at the tips and work your way to the roots. I wouldn't advise using heat on them but I could try it out at some point.

Thankyou! I always wondered the technique people use to get their hair so lovely. I'll definately post pics once I've done it

If the G4 glitter hair is like the G3 tinsel hair, run it under hot hot water before you comb it.  It helps to keep the tinsel fly-aways under control and helps to generally shape the hair.  Then like TeaLeaf said, conditioner!  I use a comb with 2 different sizes of teeth gaps, start with the comb with more space between the teeth and start the end doing a little bit at a time.  Once the big teeth go through smoothly, use the finer toothed comb to do the same thing.  It keeps from pulling the hair out and from causing knots/making them worse.
