Hi, I'm 17 and from New York and I've been collecting ponies since 2022! I have an embarrassing amount of ponies, my favorite is g1, but I love every generation. I grew up with g3.5 and g4, but the first ponies I ever got were a reproduction g1 Sweet Stuff, and a thrifted g2 Petal Blossom (hence my name lol) I don't know if I could choose a favorite pony, but one of my favorite recent purchases is g2 secret surprise friends Satin Slipper, I love her molded leg warmers!

I'm a lucky G1 baby and only had a few ponies, but I loved them dearly. At 42 I've just reclaimed all that remains of my toys from my parent's house. I joined to get tips on cleaning everything up and matching the bits and pieces together. I'm undecided about keeping vs selling some things at this point as well.
What I know for sure is the Rose Birthflower pony my Mom mail ordered for me as a baby will be going in the memory display cabinet asap <3

Hi everyone! This week one of my dreamies arrived in the mail, a 1981 My Pretty Pony. I’m looking for some restoration/customization advice for my new girly.

So I actually won her site-unseen from an auction for $8 (or less I guess, since she wasn’t the only toy in the lot). The only indicators I had for her condition were a couple of grainy photos, so I was prepared to receive a totally broken, customization pony...so you can imagine my delight when I tested her and found that she is completely functional! Tail swish, wiggling ears, winking eye and all. Her mane/tail appear to be uncut, not very matted, and can be restored easily. She’s pretty!

Except she has one problem. Pony’s eyelashes are infected with white mold...

So lately I've been thinking a lot about doing volunteer work. i haven't since i was in high school. and at that time the school helped us find volunteer opportunities. as an adult i have no idea where to start. i'm fairly introverted so the idea of meeting a bunch of new people is a bit overwhelming. but i'm usually fine once i get to know people.  So does anyone here volunteer regularly? what is it like?
