Ludo from Labyrinth

So it's weird that David Bowie just passed away.  I actually had been thinking of Labyrinth all weekend, and made a Ludo doll.

I'm going to give him to my sister for her upcoming birthday.  He's a little rough/sloppy but I think he's still pretty cute.  His only problem is that he is way too top heavy, even after I added beans to his bottom to make him more heavy.  That wouldn't be so bad- except on Sunday, when I was all finished with him- he tipped off his shelf and broke a number of fingers and toes 

I glued them back on (you can't even tell) but I don't want that to happen when he is in his new home, so I'm going to open him back up, add a rock to his bottom and add a sculpty tail.  That should stabilize him somewhat.

Oh he's adorable! I'm sorry to hear about his fingers and toes, hope you can fix the issue to avoid further accidents. He looks so cuddly!

Thanks and yeah- I think with a heavy bottom he'll be less likely to have mishaps.  I buess that's what I get for going with sculpty instead of Apoxie Sculpt.  I know it is a teensie bit toxic but it is WAY more sturdy.

Thanks! I had always wanted Labyrinth toys- they made a few things, but they don't look much like the characters in the show, and are kinda hard to find now.

He looks pretty rough to me but I think my sister will appreciate the effort-  she is always making me awesome stuff, it's about time I made her something.  There is something cool about getting a hand-made gift.
