It's a new better way, that's what Orica claims anyway. Someone must be the first if we want to be able to look into the future I suppose.

Yikes! Their claim is wrong. I am extremely anti-NFT and cryptocurrency. This crap is extremely bad for the environment. One transaction uses up a ridiculous amount of energy. All for a digital receipt saying you "own" an item. Stupid and terrible.

I'm aware of that but this is supposed to be different, there is a video on YT explaining. However, I am losing faith in Orica as the competition is Hacked, and possibly rigged at the same time - and Orica is promoting the artists with most votes despite fact that they are fake votes and most likely hacked by those artist.
And that is a fact.
We are many artists that have followed the progress and in the beginning it was quiet, the votes came in according to where we posted about our entries. And then all of a sudden the votes went up like crazy but a few artists had a ton more votes, and nobody had promoted the contest anywhere, no articles  - nothing. I usually never compete, for this very reason. It is so often fake and hacked.

Voted! I really love the song :)

Thank you ! I'm so glad :) I never do competitions but thought I should step out of my comfort zone for once.

Oh dear, I see stuff about NFTs on the side of this website. This isn't some NFT thing, is it?

I know this is a long stretch but I thought I'd ask anyways - Fellow Pony friends, I need some help. Doesn't take much effort.

Since childhood my wish have been to make music. I could never afford it.
When I became an adult health issues took everything from me, it's been 20 years now and all my friends are gone, people like me have no network.

In 2019 I finally could afford to buy myself enough equipment to learn music and yesterday I released my second song. Unfortunately that was through a competition, and I never compete because it is never about anything but being popular. That just rubs it all in all over again. Reminding me about how being a good person never pay off in the end.

If you have the time and feel like showing a little kindness to a tired heart, check out my song and give it a Vote if you like it.

My artist name is Machine Grrrl

Thank you in advance, with all my pony heart  :lovey:

I fell asleep at a Prodigy gig once. Long story though

Nice I don't think I ever saw the Prodigy live. I hope your head wasn't resting on the bassbin!

No..not even I could do that. I had been to their show the night before and we were partying until the next morning. I have no idea how they could be on stage that other night. Musicians is a whole different breed for sure.

I have it with box but it is not super impressive. A few of the G1 playsets are rather lame to be honest. But a thought struck me once when looking through the pamphlet that the really small playsets were aimed at people who could not afford the bigger ones.

Borknagar - Voices  :sigh:

I used to live with one of those guys, once he was all confused and pissed off and wondered what I was doing. Painting my nails,I said. He had never smelled nail polish before. And no he did not have migraine, I do. He just had no idea and couldn't handle it. It's just a funny story. Lots of great music though.

I've always been into finding new things to explore, as a kid I did martial arts, theatre, made movies, riding horses, collected vintage and old things in general, anything art, animals, DJing, swimming, gymnastics..and much more.

This mostly continued through my teens, and I went to raves a lot as I was a DJ. Started with ballet as well, ballet school.  And as I hit the 20s I added going out to my list, especially concerts, mainly Black Metal. Travelling a lot.
I'm into most these things still.

Now: Quit martial arts and gymnastics but got into synthesis and producing. I collect a lot of things - have a insane closet with vintage from late 1800s through every decade up till now.
Antiques and curio.
All kinds of 80s and 90s stuff, toys, clothes, everyday items like makeup and such.
Collecting rare perfumes, mainly vintage.
I own a horse so I train a lot of jumping and horsemanship and all that.
I'm also a historian so that entails restoration of silent films and archiving.
Dangerous and strange plants, mainly old witch/medicinal/psychoactive plants - that's been a passion since childhood but back then I couldn't grow my own plants. And, no, I do not use them for anything else than house plants.
I have a lot of interests..always, hehe

Yes,many times, and it is overrated.

My best advice is, don't meet your idols

The one thing I find good with celebs, if they are the curious type, is that you can talk to them about anything because they have experienced so much. Downside, a major one, is that many of them talk like they are being interviewed. You many not see it at first but eventually you just..what da... ?

And the worst, dating one, especially band members, they are often on loooooooong tours..girls hate on you, bullying like crazy. I just ..yeah..not big on celebs.

I've gone totally back to the 80s this week, listening to Samantha Fox, first album, yass !!

80s music just makes me happy, fun to bring out now and then, but some tunes really work still.

I also spend time in my own studio, I'm a synth nerd and love electronica. I'll just make a nice arpeggiator line and add some drums for fun if I'm not inspired to make an actual track..it' just a really good time to play with synthesis  :)

The line must be doing well, had to buy from Denmark, I'm in Norway, to get a few of my wants, missed out on two Rainbow ponies I wanted. Sold out everywhere. Guessing there won't be anymore releases...

I had quite a few as I did everything in my power to get them. From cleaning the house to collecting bottles in the streets. I'd say I had about 30 adults, 5 babies, show stable, pretty parlor, buggy, a sea pony.. quite a few of those heart shaped boxes with barrettes as well as stationary sets  and sets with pencils, erasers and such. It was all about MLP for me.

how much do we know about the retro line ?
Do they have any plans ? I see NOTHING about it on the MLP website. No news section..nothing?
Am I missing something ?
They're not being done by Hasbro so they aren't on the website-they're being done by Basic Fun, who's made remakes of other toylines as well.
I'll have to get the Wiki up to speed at some point. I'm just gonna direct you to the MLPMerch page in the meantime.
We have some Twinkle Eye ponies planned (Gingerbread, Sky Rocket, Sweet Stuff, and Fizzy).

...no Mimic ...Noooooo !

Thank you so much :)

Hi all, I haven't been here forever and just unpacked my ponies since moving in 2013..so I just can't read the entire thread..can I just ask - how much do we know about the retro line ?
Do they have any plans ? I see NOTHING about it on the MLP website. No news section..nothing?

I just hope it continues, I really want re-issues of all the playsets, new fresh plastic that will last a while, and hey, now we know how to care for it !!
Anyway, thanks in advance
