Ship to military base in US?

So I thought I blocked shipping to military bases but again just like with international shipping ebay options did not work. So tired of dealing with this. Anyways I thought there was a special way you had to ship to a military base in the US. Like a form or something? Can anyone help?

There shouldn't be a form or anything as long as the address is listed as a United States address.

My husband was stationed at Camp Pendleton for 4 years and there was never anything special that had to be filled out for him when I sent him stuff (both to Camp Pendleton and when he was in Iraq).

It should be exactly like sending anything to any other address in the United States.

My husband was stationed at an air force base in the U.S. for more than four years and there was nothing special to be filled out for that. And I had an ex who was in the Army and I didn't have to do anything special when I sent him anything either.

I have lived on US military bases in the past. There should not be anything different/special to ship to a military base at all. It's just like shipping to a normal US address.

If it's within the US you won't need additional paperwork, however, those situated outside the US do require additional customs forms.

I had to fill out a customs form for one. eBay said yes, then no (and wouldn't let me print it on there.) Post Office said yes. Not sure who was actually correct though.

If its within the US, you do not need a special form. If it's outside the USA you might. I have gotten tons of mail on post with no issues.

I dont think there are usually any issues when its within the same country so hopeully you should be ok. I've shipped to ones in my own country with no problems.  Even if its in another country they'll talk you through how to do it at the PO , or there is advice on the internet (thanks for the link flyawayraven )

Thanks everyone who has lived on base for the info. I am like himmie and have had conflicting responses, especially on eBay dealing with custom forms.
