Hello everyone! I have a question but I wasn't too sure where to put it so I'll ask it here! (let me know if it should be moved somewhere else!).

I bought a Disney Princess castle dollhouse this summer and due to its big size and lack of space in my room... I keep it in my balcony (which has been closed for many years... it has big windows)...

I am very worried that the set will be damaged by the sun exposure so I cover it with a large fabric from the side where the sun hits and I also put paper around the top towers. But is there a better way to protect it?

I always thought they did... their eyes look kinda melancholic to me somehow..... the way they droop downwards.. it also kinda makes them look more sweet to me.

I wonder if I am the only one who thought of that.

A lot of people dislike My Little Pony the Movie from 1986. But the question is... how would you try to fix it? I personally would have made the witches a bit more scary and intimidating more similar in tone to Ursula from the Little Mermaid... (make the witches both funny and evil).

Also I would have completely redesigned the Grundles.... they looked pretty unappealing.

I have a G1 pony that I got last year from facebook marketplace. She came to me with tail rust. At first I thought of trying to remove the head so I can clean it on the inside.... but I was too scared to remove the pony head. I heard stories about the rust spreading and destroyingthe pony, is that true? Sorry if that's a dumb question.

Personally for me the rust is only visible at the root of the tail so it doesn't bother me that much (from an aesthetic point of view). But I am worried of damage that might happen to the pony in the future if I don't do anything about it.

What do you think were some missed opportunities in the G1 cartoons?

I would have loved to see the pony friends (Zig Zag, Creamsicle, Spunky etc.) featured in at least one of the episodes. An episode featuring the sweetheart sister ponies would also have been cool!

Also I would have loved to see more backstory about Megan... get to see her parents or her house in the human world and as well also see more of her regular non-talking pony TJ.

Sometimes I am confused what non-MLP horse toy.... people consider to be fakies. Can all fantasy cartoony horse toys be seen as "fakies"? Even Barbie horses or Schleich figurines?

Or how about those Disney Princess ponies? Are those considered fakies too?

My Little Pony has been on my mind A LOT lately! Specifically the animated versions of MLP! So I wanted to ask a question here... which adaptation do you think had the prettiest animation?

I'll start first... as a kid I loved the animation in the 1986 MLP the movie. I know many people dislike it but I think that it looks lovely! The lush green forests and the small woodland animals made me think of Disney movies like Snow White and Bambi. The ponies in the movie also looked very cute .. the only thing I disliked was that their eyes didn't have any "whites" in them... with the only exception being the twinkle-eyed ponies.

When I grew older I found out about the first ever Special or pilot "Rescue at Midnight Castle" and I thought that this was the prettiest MLP ever looked! The ponies look very horsey but they also have some appropriate anthropomorphic expressions to them! I also liked that the color palette was a bit more muted and not overly saturated....

So yeah I think "Midnight Castle" is my favorite animation style... followed by the 1986 movie.
