Question- I know giftwrapping is a requirement for other swaps. Do we have to giftwrap individual items?

I'm definitely making mine like a present, but I'm not wrapping single items- instead it's all packed in a festive box with wrapping paper. Then there's tissue paper on the inside, and then the items. Does that work?

its totally up to you! ^^ I will probably do like i did last year, I wrapped them up in groups. mainly "swap stickers" all wrapped up together and then "extra" stickers wrapped up together and then did all the extras separate. then I shoved them all in a tote and then in a big enough mailer and sent them on there way xD. ill be doing the same thing this year!

I kinda feel bad. I really don't think I'm gonna spoil my partner like everyone else is. Sorry partner. I get paid again in a week so hopefully I can get more in there. Gonna do some handmade extras to hopefully add to it. It just seems like a small pile right now. I really don't think I'm ready to ship.

I wrapped  all my stickers together and then wrapped the extras in a fun way.  Its an awesome box....well at least I think so.  I will be shipping the week I get my address.

Handmade extras mean a lot.    And it is okay if you can't spoil.  I'm sure we all understand.

Hey, don't worry about it! Handmade items are totally awesome! I know I love that a lot, it's usually those things I'll keep around forever and be like, "Look what a complete stranger made for ME! Isn't the Arena awesome?"

As a student, I know what it is to not be able to spoil people even though you want to have fun and help out a little. That was how my very first swap went- I didn't understand that people here tend to really go all out, but I thought I was making someone happy by finding something they had wanted plus some candy. Apparently, it was seen as stingy, though I totally didn't mean it that way at all! I know that as long as it's coming from the heart, any of us would really love it Some of us can spend more than others and that shouldn't be part of the 'fun' of the swap!

This is why there is a minimum so you know what to spend and its not expected to go past the minimum...even if everyone else is.  Handmade items are in my box too.

Also keep in mind you have like three more weeks or more.  Take your time.  I know what ever you send your partner will love.  It okay to not spoil.

TOTALLY.  I keep all handmade things from Arena members...  there are ornaments hanging off the sword collection even, hahaha.  I love them, and I love making them and giving them.

TOTALLY.  I keep all handmade things from Arena members...  there are ornaments hanging off the sword collection even, hahaha.  I love them, and I love making them and giving them. 

My husband loves swords also but we have no place to display them.

The last thing came in the mail today, along with my Dr Who dvd's!  Yay, I can finally get my box together.  I'm going to do that on the weekend.  So excited!!

I finally got those funy stickers from Russia and a intersting g3 pony bookmark that had the logo in Russian.
also got my last set of stickers for the swap and I kinda missed the part of the auction that said they are WALL stickers  so someone out there is getting 6 rather large stickers. They would look nice on a notebook or a computer..or a wall, I suppose.

The new season starts on BBC america soon 31st at 8 pm I think...but your not in the usa...

Ooh, wall stickers and a Dr Who fan... you may be my new best friend.    I don't get Dr Who on my measly tv so I only get to watch it on dvd.  I'm currently only on the specials, thought I've bought all but Season 7.  I know what I'm doing on Easter Break.  I think wall stickers are an ok oopsy, as far as oopsies go.

I seen most of the new episodes via netflix but I did watch the Xmas special with the snowmen on Christmas

The wall stickers aren't THAT big..I think the biggest is like 4-5 inches?
