My postal lady (who is awesome) told me that even if your package has a tracking #, the PO is not obligated to scan it for updates. It's a courtesy. They only have to scan it when it's dropped off & when it's delivered. Only EMS mail has to be scanned in and out at each stop it makes. I've tried tracking packages that disappeared for days with no updates, then they suddenly show up. The postal service is pretty reliable about delivering things eventually. They just get slow sometimes, and it's tax time so there's more mail in April.

I just had an ebay package NOT get scanned in when it was delivered. All it says is out for delivery on 4/1

That's just unbelievable really.  Its stuff like that ... that causes our packages to go missing.  When they treat things in that way and all the contents fall out, how can they deliver it.  Makes me wonder if that is what has happened to half the items I ordered that never arrived.

I dont get how items can get lost, I mean your address is on the package. However i have read stories of how an letter falls behind something during sorting and gets discovered decades later and delivered.

I am releived it was sent back and not lost biut not happy to have to pay another $10 to reship.
Since the wall stickers are so tall, I think I am going to cut them up this time so everything will fit into a small box. Its the ful sheet, just cut into segments.

I'm just curious as to WHY it was sent back to begin with. Was the address off by a letter or number or did they pull another one of those 'address really does not exist things' when actually it does?

I've had a card returned because i put apartment instead of apt before the actual apt number lol

My fault actually.

I left out the street name and just had the house # and the word ST 

How they can tell me a zip code is incorrect but they didnt notice the street name was missing, I shall never know

I used to work inside the Grand Canyon National Park and I would get that ALL THE TIME. Some popular online store - think it was Amazon.com - would tell me that my zip code did not exist. 
I had ordered internet or my room and OMG - I wanted to throttle the dude I was talking with. The conversation went someething like this:
Quest Com.: Where are you located?
Me: Grand Canyon National Park
Quest: What town?
Me: The Grand Canyon
Quest: What?
Me: THE BIG ASS WHOLE IN THE GROUND IN NORTHERN ARIZONA - You can see it from space..!
Quest: That does not exist
 

I think Quest was even located IN arizona

Okay, we now all must admit that the Grand Canyon does not exist. We can all safely jump around near the nonexistent edge.  It's okay. Really. There is no hole.

Wow, what an idiot!  OK wait.... did you personally take that to your PO and your PO did not catch that mistake? Mine come after me if I forget the return address or incorrect area code for a city. they should of caught that!

I got my box!  I will take a bunch of pictures and brag as soon as I can. Might have to be tomorrow. 

My partner was Lovesbabysquirmy. I love baby squirmy too!  She found some really interesting stickers I have never seen. And included dachshunds!  I almost bought these for myself!

Yup. I physically went to the PO to mail the stickers AND the random swap package to Wiccanpony. As soon as I walked in, I should of went to another PO because they had the "hippie guy" behind the counter and I don;t now what his issue is, but it takes him literally over 20 minutes to enter in whatever they enter in their computer for international packages. Since its a small town of 2,000 people- there is usually only 1 person behinf the counter at a time and a line was forming. He as getting very annoyed with the package going to England. Maybe by the time he finished with it, he just didnt care anymore? Behind me was a dude with a big package going to Canada so I am assuming that didn;t make him very happy either.
