This thread is to be used for posting baits you are seeking or are wanting to sell. Check it before you chuck it! Once you have posted your wants or offerings, please feel free to PM members who have posted something. Please feel free to edit you post if your wants or offerings have changed. Please include if you are willing to ship and/or buy international.

Too often we have a bait laying around, thinking someone might use it, only end up thinking it might not be worth the time to post it in the For Sale or For Trade threads. Too often we wish we had a certain bait, only to find there are no postings, and only to feel that it might not be worth the time to create a Wanted thread

So here we are! What baits are you looking for? And is there a specific bait that you would like to sell, trade, or be rid of?

I will look at all g1 baits, but here's what I'm actively looking for

Flutters- wingsong/tropical breeze pose***

G2 babies
G1 Rock n Beat ponies

Baits will lots of chew marks or missing pieces!

I don't have anything specific for trade right now, but I can dig through my baits to trade bait for bait if needed. Prefer trades in the US.

I'm currently looking for white G1 ponies with good bodies, but poor hair. I'm very interested in Posey pose, but I'm willing to take others.

Sweetberry Strawberry Surprise as faded towards the yellow/orange spectrum as possible.  There was a fakie pony released in this pose that was almost Skyflier's color which would be acceptable here as well No hair is fine. 

Lemon Drop with as faded as possible symbols. Faded to white, not faded as in gone.





    Baby Apple Delight - just need the body here.
   Birthflower Cosmos - Symbols have to be nice (you can probably see where this is going, alternate birthflower!)
    Birthflower Morning Glory - Symbols have to be nice
   Birthflower Poppy - Symbols have to be nice
   Moonstone - Rainbow, with nice body and symbols.  Hair can be trash

hi everyone, i have been in the pony world forever

i have a ton of baits, im from quebec canada and i will ship world wide, i can sell or we can trade.

let me know if you are looking for anything specific. i have all generations. normally my baits are 2 dollars each if they are truly bait, bade eyes, symbols, body and hair.


normally i keep my stock baits and mints for local collectors but the "tower" of ponies i have extra, literally hundreds are taking over and i would like to thin the herd.

i also run the canadian pony collectors extravaganza (convention) are we are always looking for artist to make our mascot Maple.

Possibly an inappropiate place to ask, but I’m looking for an original Baby Quackers tail; just the tail. Looking to replace mine’s as her tail is so rusty and frizzy no flat iron or rust remover can fix, sadly.

I would consider it up to the seller and buyer on what to consider bait condition. Also keep in mind that pictures posted aren't going to show all angles, and bait issues might be hidden by hair or the other side of the pony. This thread is open to posts on whatever a seller might consider bait condition. Feel free to contact sellers for more pictures if you are only interested in badly damaged ponies.

I've got a baity G3 Tink-a-tink-a-too (Minty posed) for trade with paint marks, blue ink mark and a weird stain on her cheek that won't go away and braid-crinkled hair.

I'm looking to trade her for a normal-winged G3 Morning Monarch with body issues and good hair.

Seeking a white or light blue G2 earth bait Pony, G4 earth bait Pony, & G3.5 earth bait Pony. Can have issues with eyes, symbols, hair, missing gems on G2, but please few or no body issues (except blue stains & minimal chew marks on non-tricky areas). The G2 can't have the Dizzy Lizzie head tilt thing, any tali gimmick or the Lady Cupcake hoof thing. Non-Magic Motion would be ideal but kicking leg & sitting are acceptable as I have worked wi them before. Willing to accept exact replica soft-body Phonies of G3.5 or G4 in same colour or colours above, again earth.

I'd be happy to sell or trade this Baby Apple Delight - sadly she has chopped off hair, purplish stains all over her face, and dark grubbiness all over her body. I've increased the contract of the pictures a bit to make them more visible, and you can also enlarge them. Sadly, these are all after a thorough soapy bath, and in case of the facial stains, after a try at acetone removal. I wasn't able to get these off at all, which is why I'm considering her bair even though I'm usually all about G1 restoration :(

I have an extra Queen Rosedust. She has some marks and a weird, light brown patch on her leg. Her hair is terribly frizzy, dry and white. Tail hair was easily pulled out when I tried to brush it. For some strange reason the wing-tabs are missing.  Head has been glued on. Really messed up toy. Definite fixer-upper. Free to anyone who wants to take her on. Poor girl.

I'm selling an extremely yellowed Taffy with a bite on her leg on Ebay this week. Actually I'm not sure if she's yellowed or if it's her flocking glue becoming old or some combination. She has some other flaws but nice hair and no weird smells or mold, etc. going on.

G2 located so not on my list any more (got very lucky). Still after white or light blue G3.5 earth (common G3.5 Rainbow Dash) & G4 earth (or could be G4 Rainbow Dash's head & Rarity's Body, spare from a Custom pegacorn project???)

Adding to list: white G1 Newborn earth with no marks. Chews to easy to patch areas accepted, symbol rubs & missing or hacked hair preferred. Dangles pose preferred but not essential.

Will any or all of these work? The bottom 3 have had haircuts, and the Cotton Candy has something on her symbol, but I haven't tried cleaning her yet so maybe it will come off. The Pinkie Pie also has something on her symbol. Other than dirt, I don't think there's anything really too bad with the Fluttershy, just tangled hair. Happy to send more pics if you want.

I might have a Sundance too, but I'll have to search for her.

Is anyone in the US interested in a mystery box of G3 baits? 

I boxed them up in 2017 intending to rehome them and because of things like weather, tearing my ACL, needing surgery (and taking longer to recover), and then COVID, I haven't done it yet.  They've been in the back of our guest room closet since.  Since shipping costs are so high, I'm going to say US only.  Let me be clear, this is a giveaway.  I just want them out of the closet and to someone who will use them.  I'd bought them from thrift stores intending to do customs and rehairs but I don't have the time.  (I also have boxes of non-baits that I will be giving away soon as well but since the baits are a bit more niche and I only have one box, I thought I'd start with those.)

Since it's been so long, no, I don't remember what's in it (hence the mystery part) but I'm pretty sure there's at least one pegasus and at least one baby in the mix.  I think damage ranges from rehairs to chew marks.

Looking for Firefly pose! If it's a repro pony I'd prefer just because I do feel lowkey guilty completely modifying a toy older than I am. If repro ponies aren't an option, then just a regular should be fine.

Also looking for a spare G3 Abracadbra hat and Pumpkin Tart cat ears if possible. If not, I'll just make my own. I don't know much about G3s so I'm not sure about the rarity of said items.

As I'm wanting to get back into customizing for 2024, I am looking for pretty much any baits, pref gen1, 3 and possibly 4. pony colour and species don't matter, I don't mind doing FBRs and right now, I just want to create!

I may have (g1, g2) doubles to trade, as well as my own art in sticker, washi tape, art commissions and such to trade, if that's interesting, or ofc regular payment :frolic:
