I think if it was mine I would be happy with colors that are close even if not a perfect match. I think once you rehair her then you won't really notice the not perfect match because all the old hair will be gone. You could also make her a bit unique by changing the color order of the stripes or change the sheen of the hair. I think she would look lovely with hair that has a more shiny metalic sheen to it. I have some for a custom princess tiffany that I have planned that was super shiny white that I was planning on using instead of the tinsle. I think she would look lovely with shiny hair. I think it would make her look luxurious.
No matter if you decide to do as much of a restore as possible or more on the custom side she will look lovely. A new head of hair seems like all she needs the body seems to be really mint. I hope you will post before and after pictures in the customs forum with the details of the hair choice. Good Luck!

I actually really like her. Its nice to have the pink broken up by a orange tone in the hair. I also liked the set that she came in. I feel like here pose is also more inventive and interesting than most pony poses. G3 is my favorite generation and I don't hate any of them. Only thing missing from G3 that I wanted to see were boys and sea ponies.

I sold one late 2018 for $480 for the closed mouth version. open mouth version seems to be a bit harder to find. Mine was in excellent condition loose no packaging.

Really though at that price its cheaper to give you the refund and let you keep it then to spend any extra cost on shipping it again.

I would also be interested in production sample G3s or other rare unique G3 ponies.

twinkle_eyed, The one I have is the wedding castle not the crystal castle. I think she only came with the crystal castle sets.

I can say I try to have reasonable prices listed for what I want to sell. I don't mind people making offers especially if they are wanting to buy more than just one pony. I don't always have time to do exhaustive searching and cross referencing for prices on things.
Honestly the buyer is probably more informed of the going rate than I would be as a seller since they have been the ones looking for the item.
If you want the item they are selling it never hurts to make an offer.
