Does anyone know the answer? If you can buy a Pullip doll in Tokyo, are they any cheaper than they are here? I have a friend that lives there....should I be sending her shopping?????
-
I dunno, but I'm pretty sure Pullips are from Korea so they'd be imports in Japan as well. I don't see any reason to not have her look though.

With the exchange rate you might end up paying more there than you would here. A lot of companies actually price is to if its 120,000¥ than it'll be $1,200. Though with Pullips I am also not sure but I do know there are some used doll companies in Mandrake and the like that you could have your friend check out. :3

Thanks Kaos!

Thanks for the tip....do you have any names of the companies/stores that sell used dolls, and where is Mandrake?

The good thing about a friend in Japan is they can buy things from Japanese auction sites.

It's actually spelled Mandarake (man-duh-rack-eh) :) Just thought it'd be easier for you to find. They also have a lot of second hand dolls and toys sold in Akihabara!

Here you have Mandarake online :)
