Candy I will not touch:

Black licorice
Candy Corn(why does it look so cute but taste so bad??)
Chocolate covered cherries
Peeps(my teeth hurt just thinking about them)
And I forget the name of that chocolate bar with coconut in it.  :X

The older I get, the closer Hershey's gets to being on this list though. I seem to dislike it more and more every time I have it these days.

Maybe if we used knives, we could whittle the paint off? Of course, then we would have bumpy whittle marks . . .

I actually did a little of that too with an exacto blade lol. No dice. So now one side looks like a small animal bit her leg from the sanding and there's little scratches from the blade. I gave up and scrubbed with acetone eventually and it got some off, but I didn't soak it like suggested here yet.

has anyone tried sandpaper?

I did try, to my surprise...it did nothing to this stupid paint. All it did was rough up the plastic. Seems long acetone soak and scrub is the only way so far.

Which is such a shame...Starlight has my new favorite G4 pony pose. And of course it came with this situation.

I hope they don't discontinue her so soon either. I just got mine after all. Went into the store and they still had the display Sunset, so I bought her. Takes all the time out of stuffing too, which is nice.

She's great, I'd love to get her but I'm just starting to rebuy MLP build a bear plushes after I donated pretty much all I had when I was done with ponies for the second time in my life. (lol)  Anyway, I wish they would make the tails longer and thicker. To have those nice long, thick manes then a tiny string of a tail looks weird.

If it helps any, I'm looking to sell my Mane 6, CMC, Spike, and DJ Pon3 if you need any of those. I was going to garage sale them soon-ish.

Hmm... Idk if they'll be that strict, but I haven't tried either.  I'd say sign up for email(club) & have them scan ur coupon.  Worth a try if buying a bab anyway.  They do ask for ur club # at the register when checking out so ur purchase can go towards accumulating reward pts.  I highly doubt they have specific dates on when ur your acct was activated.  The coupon was active for print 3-4days, it was extended bc bab website was crashing with new acct sign ups.  Hmm ..even if they did question u, can easily say this is ur new acct bc new email.  (I forgot my original bab registration bc of multiple emails & signed up for a new acct )

I saw 2 families come in saying they were there for pay your age bday bear (new offer after the fiasco as well), and they weren't asked for any club info & started stuffing.  Employee usually asks at checkout but we left b4 I saw how i saw if they were being strict or not on that offer.  You have to be a bab club member to get that deal too.  But I would think if they gave u a hard time, just sign up on the spot with ur mobile & pay ur child's age...

Exclusions: not valid on barbie, kabo, power rangers, jumbo furry friends.  It doesn't have MLP listed, so I would have to argue that.

Specific date wouldn't be hard to track, I think. But it wouldn't surprise me if they track by sign up month and year. So if you have a coupon that was for July and the account was made in August...but I feel like that's really something only a stickler for rules or a manager would care about. Luckily I never see the managers around here.

But yeah, this whole Pay Your Age thing really has been a big trainwreck. I feel bad for the employees. Apparently corporate is confusing them really bad with what is and isn't eligible for $15 off. Hence the confusion with some of them about Sunset Shimmer specifically.

Luckily I used mine already and I have a $10 off $30 that they sent me in the mail instead.

Bab had that fiasco, pay ur age day.  They sent out $15 cert. good towards any animal with exp. end of Aug.  Just show them the coupon on ur phone or print & bring in.  I believe there no unique sku/upc, as I found the image online via Google search & has the exact same #s.  We wont be using ours.  If anyone wants it I can email to them or if it isn't again arena rules, maybe someone can post it here for all those interested.  In-store use only, cannot be used on accessories, good towards a furry friend only.

You also need to have a BaB account. I've heard rumors that they can tell if your account is too new to have recieved the $15 off(it had a time limit), but somehow I kind of doubt they actually check.

And also some said they had problems with the stores telling them that Sunset was not part of the sale. She definitely was, as she was available before Pay Your Age Day. But I guess possibly be prepared to correct a staff member with her release date if they say she's not.

Apparently they still haven't restocked at either BaB in my area either...I saw the last one they had 2 weeks ago, but passed on her in favor of Meowth. I thought they'd have more in that time.

Does anyone know if you can ask BaB to order online over the phone? Or do you have to pay for it when you ask them to order? I only ask because I have a $10 coupon and a $10 gift card I was gonna use on her next week, but can apparently only do this in-store. :/ Of course their online system won't accept my gift card.

If you're looking for a US seller, Junkyspot carries many Obitsu products, but some of them are a bit older.

When I go Obitsu, I go to Parabox. The shipping is a little pricey at $20, so I'd save and just stock up on everything you wanna get in one go. But they have the newest versions of the 1/6 Obitsu dolls. I think Junkyspot is still selling the old ones. I've gotten all my 1/3 scale and 1/4 scale vinyl dollsl bodies from them.  ^.^ technically speaking the larger ones are "paradoll", but Obitsu manufactures those too. I'm always secretly happy to see someone go Obitsu. They're great dolls and deserve more love lol. You'll probably have a lot of fun with the magnets in the feet. Not only is it great for posing, but you can stick them to things.

The BJD under $300 list is great. I have a Resinsoul Autumn who I got for $140, which is pretty great for a centaur doll. I also have a Hujoo Freya who only clocks in at $60. Resinsoul will do tons of custom stuff for you as well! Such as custom color, headswaps, I've even heard ear swap is something they can do for you.

I hope you find a doll that appeals to you. :) Under $300 isn't tough with a little patience and people to help guide you to some deals. All of my dolls are $300 or less. And I collect Dollfie Dreams almost exclusively(they're SD size or 60cm size dolls.) With the exception of my only fullset Dollfie Dream lol. I'm more well versed in vinyl BJD than resin, but feel free to ask for any help if you need it. I'm all about hunting the deal

Edit: forgot to mention my first lol. My first doll was my Dollfie Dream and Obitsu/Parabox body hybrid boy. Body was $180 total with shipping and all that, head was $60 with shipping and all. I painted him myself.  :) My second and third are the same type of hybrid for around the same cost, just in the smaller/shorter MSD(40-45cm) height. My fourth and fifth were gotten in a weird sorta trade deal, so their values may technically not count lol.

A couple of some of my group. My three boys, Kaito, Hotaru, and my newest is Maron. And my girl, Rin. I have two other DD hybrid boys too...but I haven't uploaded any good photos of them to Imgur lately.

Seconding contacting eBay. I don't see people pushing this enough...if someone has sold you a recast and you didn't know...take that money away from them! They will use it to make more, after all. Don't feel bad for not knowing and for well, having them decieve you. If you make it sound like it's a pain to send it back to China(which it is, tbh), eBay will likely not make you. Bootlegs are NOT allowed on eBay. They're breaking TOS anyway by selling it in the first place. When this happens to me with plush or other products, eBay has not made me send it back. Or even asked me to throw it out(worst case they ask you to throw it out. But I don't know eBay to ever follow up on this.) As others have said... unfortunately you won't be able to post in most places with that particular doll, but I don't see many who will shun you for not knowing. Especially if you buy legit from now on. I don't think that will be held against you. :(  Still sucks to have to deal with the process though. But it should be easy enough to get a refund.

Aw man, that really sucks that they could be direct recasts. :( I haven't bought any of the actual dolls because they're not my style, but man do I love the clothes. I have been tempted to buy the dolls just to swipe those. I bought all the clothing packs because they look really cute on my Hujoo Freya and my Kikipop body:

This one is probably my favorite set though. This is my Dollce girl on an Azone Kikipop body.

I go medium to hot. If it relates to fish(like in a poke bowl), I really like to savor it and make it last, so I go mild sauces there. But for stuff like wings, I always go hot. If it doesn't burn and make my nose run, I don't want it. :P Mainly because I can barely say that I "like" chicken. It has to be drowned out in something else for me to truly say that I enjoy it.

As for spicy snacks...some chips I've really enjoyed lately have been Calbee Hot & Spicy flavor, Kettle brand's Pepperoncini flavor, and Popcorners' Sweet Heat Chilli. Though that last one is pretty mild and more sweet. I also tend to add chilli flakes into my pasta or ramen meals or anything like that. Or I just buy the hot flavors.

I mean, how can anyone look at Fluttershy and think that's something a kid will want?! She looks like a ghost that's being possessed by another ghost! That's the scariest thing I've ever seen in my life!!

...hasbro why

Thank you! Fluttershy is definitely the most unsettling of these by far to me. Agreed with the other comment that said they all look like they're making the Dreamworks face too.

Don't like these faces at all :( The clothes are better at least? I found the outfits on the old ones to be total eyesores most of the time. But that's not enough to get me to buy...I'll stick to the minis for sure.
