POTD 12/16/19 Dazzle Surprise

I know I've saw her before, but I haven't bought her.

As a kid I really really wanted her. I saved up my Pony Points but by the time they got there they switched over to offering Sunshimmer instead. I remember that they even sent a "sorry" letter. I was SO mad! I wouldn't be able to ever get Dazzle Surprise anymore!

As an adult, I'm not too impressed by her. Sunshimmer was way better. Though, she looks a bit like Sparkleberry Swirl. They could be sisters. That's pretty cute. Other than that, she's pretty boring. Maybe she's prettier in person?

I really like Dazzle Surprise. None of her colours are that exciting on their own but they seem to work really nicely together.

We didn't even have the option of the mail order over here in the UK, so someone had to mail away for her for me over in the US (ironically with my points >< We had the points, just not the offer!) but it was worth it. I like Sunshimmer as well (esp. as the ancestor of Sunset Shimmer) but Dazzle's colour blend is beautiful.

Not one I could ever pick up second hand here. I've literally never seen her other than the one that was sent off for for me back then.

This is the only pic I think I have of her, she could use a hairbrush xD.

I've never seen her in person.  That peachy pink color is so pretty!  I do want her.

Although she's your standard pink/purple pony, I have always really liked her! I thought her colors went well together. And I have to admit, mail-in ponies have a special place in my heart. It just feels cool to have to make the extra efforts to get one.

@Ragamuffin - I'm really sorry you didn't get her. That happened to me when I was a kid with a Littlest Pet Shop mail-in offer. I was really bummed.

She looks amazing in some pictures but boring in others. I'd also love to see a return of the pony point program!

They did, I wasn't left pony-less! Imagine how big of a shock it must have been to receive a pony you never thought existed instead of the one you wanted... I can't remember my exact reaction...

Well at least they didn't leave you hanging. Sunshimmer is very pretty.

I'd keep her if I got her in a lot or something, but I don't think I'd go out of my way to get her... Hmm. Just can't decide about this one or not.
