Pony Corral / 9 inch g3's?
« on: October 16, 2013, 02:14:53 AM »
I found a 9inch (23 centimeter) rainbowdash a few years ago at a yard sale, and found a pinky pie with tinsel at goodwill today. I can't seem to find ANY information on these besides old ebay listings and the 2005 mark on the hoof.
The only ones I know of are
Rainbowdash, pinky pie, rarity, starsong and wisteria.

Are there more? what series were they from? They seem to go for a lot of money (10 up to 40$) so are they rare? So many questions! :drunk:

Can someone help me figure out what these are? Thank you!

I've been sick the last few weeks, so I was pretty much locked up in my parents' house..
But whenever I felt better I had my trusty computer with me, so I guess it wasn't all that bad.

Anywho, in my hours of browsing around, having nothing better to do, I came across these babies!

(Yeah, the pictures are from the site I bought them from, my camera is busted so these will do.

I have NO idea what these are, but they are most certainly a 'man's' my little pony, and even have the flank art going on. They have light effects, on the black one the eyes and manes glow, and the other one the harnas. It's awesome!

Does anyone know what these are? And if there are more?

Wanted! / Looking for a Night Glider.
« on: February 19, 2013, 11:54:03 AM »
I always loved the pony Night Glider, she's so beautiful and unique. She is my grail and I'd pay good money on one. Even if it's bait, I could restore her. If you can help me, please let me know. Thanks!

All the info should be under the spoiler, but if there is anything at all that I left out then I am happy to oblige. :)

I very much appreciate it!

Pony Corral / What's your favorite pony? (Important!)
« on: February 18, 2013, 10:45:14 AM »
I'm working on an art project for an art class and we were asked to illustrate our childhood treasures in a style of your choosing (My choice is colored pencils on colored paper.)

And I immediately thought about Ponies. But looking back, I didn't really have any real favorites besides gingerbread and night glider.

And since there are WAY too many ponies I like today, I can't make a choice. So please help me out and name your favorite pony from any generation before friendship is magic.

Thank you!

Pony Corral / Re: The Best [or Worst] Villains?
« on: February 18, 2013, 10:19:03 AM »
I can't really spot a favorite villain, the old ones like Tirek were either a very intimidating line up of pure concentrated evil, or they were just silly and stupid. But then there was Catrina a VERY interesting, especially in hindsight since she was, by lack of a better term, a drug addict. She had a story, a motive, and a friend who just goes along with her plans because he loved her.

The new villains are great too, especially Queen Chrystalis I was just blown away that they actually had a succubus as a villain. She make me really see hat this team was capable of in terms of villains, but then I saw King Sombra, I loved his design, but he never said a word, had no motive, no personality and never seemed much as a threat to me. He was just BORING. Plain and simple.

MLP Nirvana / Re: Blue Lickety Split census! Who has her!??!?
« on: February 18, 2013, 08:14:42 AM »
I bought one at a convention last October at a retro toy vendor's booth. I think I payed about 3€ for her? xD the guy was way too preoccupied with selling overpriced he-man figures and power ranger robots to have any concern of how much the ponies he had were worth. xD *cackles evilly while lightning strikes and thunder claps in the background*

Very pretty, it's just too bad that the g4 ponies are so very small because some of them are so pretty. =(

I have a spare Italian seashell and peppermint crunch that are in good very condition I'm willing to part with. I'll make it a bargain. Or maybe even a trade? Just let me know if you're interested, and say how much you're willing to pay or trade for.

Arts & Crafts Corral / Me and my sisters ponified!
« on: February 07, 2013, 01:47:08 AM »
As a jobless commission student who has way to much free time and had no inspiration for art whatsoever lately, I decided to draw me and my sisters.

From left to right: Tha- (The oldest, elegant one. She loves/collects/is insanely good at video games), Na- (The middle child, a dread-locked hippy who works at a wildlife shelter) and myself / (a snarky pony loving illustrator)

I graduated from art school, but I'm doing exams for a high school business degree. I'm still looking for a job, but I sell artwork (like miniature dragons, paintings and art prints and such) on the side.
