I saw that the pattern is very different from HelloGoodbye's too.  Fortunately I love both Novas.  I unboxed the less marked one and she looks more stripey from the front.

Ponybookworm, 5 little diamonds (which is UK) have a preorder note on their website saying they expect them end september. I haven't put in any orders yet but if you don't want to do Amazon, I'd check them out.

I'm hoping they might show up in John Lewis and/or Toymaster stores but I won't know till I go south. We don't have either here, and I think Smyths and Entertainer won't carry them. They're too busy labouring on G5, which doesn't seem to be moving an inch.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed at least one of the Forbidden Planets will get them in.

It might be an idea to keep an eye on Toys R Us' UK website too - that's where I got my 40th ann. CC from.

My Aurora and Polaris have arrived and are gorgeous!!  Just waiting on Milky Way now!

I'd assume Toymaster will get them as they've already picked up the anniversary ponies and the plushes (or at least the bigger of the two around here have them). Fingers crossed at least they get a wider release.

My Polaris came in (from Amazon) yesterday. Wednesday my Rescue at Midnight Castle set is predicted to come in! =)

I had a hard time getting a picture of the clouds, but I know I stared for a long time in wonder when I pulled the ponies out.

Whoever is in charge of the packaging and art at Basic Fun deserves a raise!!!  Everything they've done for these 40th Anniversary ponies has been so amazing.

I love the RAMC packaging.   It amuses me how Spike looks like he's pointing the way to find him "sold separately" even though I know it's the "He's really a prince!" pose.

The clouds look like they came right out of the animation too.

Nova (I think it's Nova?) on Amazon Uk dropped in price and I've had a stressful week with the buses, so I caved and ordered her. I may keep her in her box, though.

I am looking forward to finding the figures. I can definitely fit some on my shelf, inbetween dolls
