Thanks Marlin. I'm just sad that I thought I finally had a real commission and then kind of didn't/ Frustrating to say the least. But oh well I guess it means I just have to push myself harder.

The customer was my fiance. With a coworker's address. So yeah, no real commission. =/

It's the thought that counts, right? Might have been making the gesture to help you build confidence and show you support. Most of my first "commission" out of college were from friends and family. If you got $$ for it, then it counts in my book.

 I thought it was cute and felt really bad for being mad about it but I was so excited to finally have someone like my art that they would pay actual money for it. And I wrote a little thank you card and everything. And actually I didn't take money up front so it COSTED me money to ship it and it seems silly to ask for money now.
