What do you enjoy?

Pasta! :freak:
I could eat pasta everyday. I don't have a favorite, I like it all. All the shapes, all the sauces.

sushi is my favorite for when i want a once in a while treat. i couldn't eat it every day.
tacos or indian food are probably my favorites. i also like cajun food. i make a yummy fried catfish. i'm still working on the fried shrimp.

I don't know about my favourite precisely (I don't know if I could pick one), but I do love a good Tikka chicken curry or pizza.

When I was a kid I loved chicken, rice and curry sauce. I ordered it for dinner every birthday and if we had it any other time I was in heaven. The sauce was a premade pulver mix you added to water and boiled and in the end added butter to. Even to this day, while having tried the real deal when it comes to different currys, that sauce is still my favorite to chicken. Like I could lick a bowl of it.
After thinking long and hard I concluded that this dish would serve me well today if it was my last meal, but it has to be mom who cook it.
Close second is my grandmas ground beef beefs, with boiled potatoes, black currant jelly and onion sauce. She gave me her recipe before she died, but it's not the same as when se made it.

Pasta, & anything baked. I've just made biccies & had another go at scones & both are yum!!!

Probably cheese. Things that contain various cheeses - pizza, tacos, cheesecake, cheeseburgers. LOL.

Oooh! This is a hard one! I would say Wendy's fast food or maybe oridea tater tots. Both are mad slept on. (Gen Z talk sorry) ^.^

Idk if it counts as a food per se, but buffalo sauce! I love absolutely anything that has buffalo sauce on it. My favorite I’d probably Frank’s Red Hot, it’s got a good kick without it being too spicy imo. It’s also neutral enough to go well with any food!
As for actual food, maybe chicken! It’s super versatile and relatively healthy so I eat it very often. I know some people on diets say they get sick of it, but I’ve never had that issue! I could probably eat chicken every day lol!

Grilled cheese!
Then my mom’s mashed potatoes. She has given me the recipe, but mine never taste like hers, so I think she adds a secret ingredient that she doesn’t tell me about. >_<
Then charcuterie.
Then bagels and cream cheese.
Then tacos.
Then sushi.
I like a lot of food. :lol:

OOooooo this is making me hungry.
Appetizer: Salsa and corn chips
Entree: My brother's bbq chicken
Vegetable: Corn on the cob
Starch: Mashed potatoes
Dessert: Rocky Road Ice Cream
However, my favorite food is actually just chips and salsa. I just want the meal too.

Previously I would've said pasta but after staying in Italy for 1,5 weeks in the summer I noticed there apparently *is* such a thing as too much pasta :lol: (Please don't tell them :P )
I still love my carbs, though. Noodles, pasta, fresh bread, anything flat and circular that can be used to wrap things, savoury or sweet, like tortillas, flatbread, crepes...
But I also love my veggies. I'd say something like tofu bibimbap is perhaps my ideal combination of hearty comfort food and fresh vegetables. Or a stir fry with lots of veggies (no meat). I also like curries and Indian food a lot.
(I love food, lol! :lookround: )
