Pokémon Go! Lapras and Articuno

I've never stolen a gym before... I've won a battle though, and took a gym down a level. What I do to get in gyms is keep an eye out for gyms on my team when I'm in the car, and I check each one. If it has a spot, and I pass near, I quickly toss a pokemon in and immediately get my reward. I live in Seattle, so it's the only way I can do it.... gyms change hands faster than a cold can pass in a kindergarten classroom.

Rofl, I took fown a gym today, but I was in the car, and just barely within range...when I tried to put a pokemon in it, it said I was too far away, so I j8ist left it for someone else to claim, haha.

I did it yesterday, too. I was walking home from work, and beat a gym, and put my pokemon in. I'm guessing it was one of the cars in the line of traffic then beat my pokemon while I was crossing the street. I got to the other side, and put another pokemon back in while the gym was neutral. Mwahahaha.. MY GYM!!!

Jealooouuusss! Scyther is one of my favorite Gen 1 Pokemon and I haven't seen one yet.

I had a dream last night that I caught two Lapras and a Gyrados. Anyone else ever have Pokémon Go dreams?

I haven't been having any luck finding one either. There used to be a nest out in Oakland but from my understanding it's now long gone :/

Down farther on this peninsula the Pokemon are all changed up, the town is full of fire and electric Pokemon. Getting Ponyta each time I head down is so exciting. Getting close to Rapidash.

I never, EVER see any fire or electric types. I've hatched a few, but it would be nice to see a wild one. Actually I did get one wild charmander once. It made my day.

Quite a pretty place to walk around even though it's all factories and ships and manmade things. Seems pretty fitting for those types of Pokemon.

Pikachu spawns quite a bit too. Growlithe and Ponyta and Vulpix are there a lot.

I read recently that of the starters (minus Pikachu) Bulbasaur spawns the most, then Squirtle, then Charmander. I think I've only caught one wild Charmander? Quite a few squirtle, not enough for Blastoise. Tons of Bulbasaur. Plus I caught a wild Venusaur, had another run away, and didn't bother going over to a third that I saw spawn last week. So now if I see Bulbasaur it's like meh. Have a lot of candy already to power up Venusaur.

Man, will they give us some real tracking already, though? I don't track Pokemon really, I just move around with an incense going (more spawn than sitting still), or sit at Pokestops at parks that draw good ones that have lures going.

Finally got my stupid game to work, hatched my egg and it was a stupid rattata! xD I havnt gotten a 10k egg in a long time it seems!

Helping my sister check into college in Dublin this week, caught myself a Mr. Mime while on the bus! Can't wait to throw this clown down at my local gyms when I get back stateside

Very jealous! I want all of these. Well, I do have one beloved Ponyta. But the rest I've never seen. There are a lot of poison, bug, and water types where I live. Makes sense since my area (like most of Florida) is full of small bodies of water and marshy places.

Yeah, I don't even see them pop up on the radar. It sucks.

Theres a park in the next town that supposedly switches between a Jynx and Scyther spawning, but I've only seen the Jynx.

I'm kind of irritated at the app atm. Yesterday it kept crashing when I was trying to look at gyms and today I'm trying to weed out pokemon and naming some of them.. the keyboard doesn't want to work orz
