It's that time of the year again! Who's watching with me?

I know there are big political questions in play so let's just leave it at that - I respect anyone's decision to boycott the contest this year. Let's keep the discussion civilized and focus on the musical performances, please.

Who are your favourites this year? Any guesses as for the winner? If your country is competing, what do you think about the artist? Did you watch the semifinals or just the grand final? The floor is yours.

Great find! I love the idea of a used toys section at a bookstore. These days they sell everything besides books anyway, I'm pretty sure they have some new toys as well!

I'm angry with myself for missing a job application deadline. The ad said 30 April so I thought I still had time to work on it today, but the deadline was at midnight. A bit confusing. Well, it's my fault for not doing it earlier, I saw the ad ages ago and then kept procrastinating. Besides, it was something I don't have formal qualifications for, so I highly doubt I would've had any real chances anyway. But the job description itself sounded like something I could do and enjoy.

Well, there will be other opportunities. I guess I'm just upset because it genuinely sounded like fun, and because I wanted to take my time and prep a good application and portfolio, but then I just lazied around the whole weekend. Maybe I subconsciously sabotaged myself because I was too scared to take the leap. 

After a break of some three months, I finally found my inspiration for papercrafting and have been doing some decos (decorative friendship books) again. Just in time for the happy mail swap! (see Swap talk for more info). I'm looking forward to that one, I haven't done any pony art since the Valentine's ATC swap.
