deflocking and repair/ custom: to be or not to be?!

I ask this one here because i dont want to post twice on a similar subject in different boards...^__^
so i have a hippity hop who is just groosssss!!! She is rusty colored, red, and blue all over and just looks scummy.  I cant get her clean.  Her head has also started to deflock.  Should i deflock her?

i also have this sad little baby moondancer who was mauled by a dog.  She is also stained a gross dingy color.  Should i customize her or try to bring her back to her former glory?  Oh wait.. wrong baby^__^

personally, my deflocked truly [complete with one stain to her shoulder] is one of my favorite ponies, and i was sure I'd be so dissapointed when I got all the nasty grummy flocking off of her that was so stained and messy. But she cleaned up very nicely, so I'm fully in support of deflocking ponies, especially if you grow to love them more because of it. As far as baby moondancer...She was my first custom , namely for the same reasons. She is SO common, and seems to consistantly have so many aging issues, I'd say go ahead and customize her. If someone protests, you could always offer to trade her to them for a bait pony that they deem more common or customizable..But personally, i say go for it on both counts.

Do what you like!  Baby Moondancer has definitely seen better days... she could do with a makeover.  I think Hippity Hop would be gorgeous deflocked, too.

I love how brightly colored those manky fuzzy ponies are = remove the fuzz!

I vote deflock!  Baby Moondancer (or Glory?  Her symbol looks like Glory's shooting star or am I crazy?) I think could quality as a restore or a custom, whichever you prefer.

DEFLOCK! And I think Baby Glory needs some good sculpting so she seems to be the perfect custom bait.
