✨Hey nice pony people✨

I used to post on here sometimes. I’ve been a little busy since 2014! I got married. Changed departments at work. Had a baby (the BEST BABY💕). Went through a global pandemic...as a covid nurse😕. Bought a house. Wrote about 70k words for a manuscript. Hot girl stuff, you know? Aaaaand I’ve finally gotten around to finishing this lady, Heirloom Sweet. Let’s go, 2021!

FB airbrush, painted with acrylics and sealed. Her hair is nylon from Shimmerlocks, TheDollyverse, and some leftover DH I had on hand. I wasn’t a fan of the plastic jewel on her bait, so I patched it with apoxie.

Original G1s aren’t my first choice. I’ve customized one, but she was in rough shape to begin, and she went to my sister who explicitly requested that pose. This was before Basic Fun or HQG1C were much of a thing. I’ll bait G3s if they’re common and far from mint.

Just for the few customs I've done, I've found I prefer outdoor shots with bright indirect sunlight, environmental colors that offset and highlight the pony, and shots level with the pony.

2-part epoxy like Tulips said. I've used it to glue Reaper mini limbs/disconnected parts, and it seemed very solid.
