I've always wanted her, her colors and soda remind me of a birthday party :)

I've never heard of her before but her name and symbol are great :) I feel like her colors could be brighter though, but that's just my love of neon showing. I'll have to hunt her down one of these days I think...

Thank you, it's good to be back :)

G1s were my childhood ponies. Like many others here I loved MLP from the get go because they were ponies that had adventures and still ate grass and the like not because of any of the more human like elements they were given in Tales (although I did like the characters in Tales the 'walking on two legs' style it often had really peeved little me).

G2s I liked fine but I thought of them as deer pony friends more than actual MLP. I was really sad when the line ended right after it started in the US or I would have collected more.

G3s had the look of G1 more but for some reason it never gave me the same warm feeling as the faces and style of G1 did and I stopped collecting them after a couple years.

I enjoy G4s and their chibi deer look but the more human element moments and Looney Tunes gags in the cartoon often pull me out of the show. Still I think I will someday own it on DVD... If I'm being very honest if Hasbro had kept the main 6 as their first rebooted G1 characters idea with Twilight, Posey, Surprise etc I would probably be an even bigger fan driven 50% on nostalgia alone :)

Pony Corral / Re: What ponies do you collect?

G1: A little bit of everything. Mostly ponies I wanted in childhood or my early collecting years at this point which is only a few now.
G2: Whatever I can find of the non-US ponies for a good price. I'm not actively collecting them but I don't really turn them down ether.
G3: None really, apart from the few I still have.
G3.5: If I find a big plush baby I don't have I will get it :).
G4: Mainly Fluttershy, Discord, snowglobe ponies, some of the giant styling ponies and blindbags. Other than that I get one version of each pony if I happen to find it.

I think a lot has to do with what you relate a gen to. If you or your children grew up with a gen or have warm memories related to them it can be harder to part with them.

I wonder if they'll introduce a new type or if it's too soon for that. I'd love to see a Light type.

I think they probably will, light type would be great :)! The legends of this gen almost look like a new sub-type with the night sky look to them.

This is really sad to hear, I'd always been meaning to start to collect the figures at the very least. It seemed like a good chance to start up something akin to a Disney only version of Kingdom Hearts with the right storyline. Will they still be selling the figures for a while or are they going to be pulling everything all at once? Do the games have any offline play that would still make them worth getting afterward?

I'm playing Fire Emblem: Fates Birthright right now on easy mode as I'm one of those lighthearted players that restarts every time a unit dies. I love all the character interactions even more than the plot  ^.^.

Moon for sure :). I started with Blue Version in high school and I've been keeping the tradition of getting every 2nd game in a gen ever since. I usually get the water starter most of the time as well but I just can't get over how cute the little leaf owl is this time :)

I love pearly ponies and orange so I'm going to make sure to pick up Pretzel.

I got rid of most of my G3s back around 2008 or so because I found I was just collecting them because they were MLP and not because I loved the line as a whole. Sometimes a gen doesn't click with us as much another but that's ok all and all :)

Mostly for phone calls, games and txting. Texting has become so much more a part of my life now that I know how to use the speech to txt feature on my phone :). I can't get over how far tech has come in such little time...

My first pony was ether Sparkler or Flat hoofed Minty, but Sparkler is the first MLP I remember opening from card when I was about three.

I use to have her. Her colors and pose make her one of my all time favorite G3s, I only wish her neck moved :)
