I was only two when I got my first pony so at that age it was literally whoever was gifted to me.  My mom hated (and yet got a kick out of) a lot of the ponies with scents so I managed to usually get complete sets of anything that was scented lol.  Whenever G1 MLP ended, I was old enough to kind of buy things on my own…a bit. So I tried to buy as much of Year 10 as I could (and I think I got them all thankfully except for a few of the teeny tiny ponies…at least, back then).  Whenever the internet entered my house in 1997/1998, I found there were other collectors like me—-and that *gasp* they would SELL ponies to me! 

The early internet years I focused on any ponies that I always really wanted and ponies that were featured in the TV shows and movies that I didn’t already have.

Then—-as was always my TRUE intent—it became a “I need every US pony.”  Years later I was able to check that off the list. 

Now it has just become picking up international ponies that I enjoy (even though I go through phases of “I need all of xyz country.” ).

I have a bad “completionist” mindset sometimes lol

Hockey, baseball, football...I enjoy most sports (either watching or playing depending on the sport itself ). I adore hiking and camping; my trips center around hiking in the U.S. National Parks.  Unfortunately the Midwest has little in the way of hiking to the level I prefer, but that’s all the more reason to travel!

I have wanted her for awhile... there were a couple at a previous pony fair I had passed on because they weren’t mint (for some reason I’m being picky with this particular pony but no others lol). One day!!

Ok, I know there are SOME hockey fans on this forum, although I don't know how active they ("we") are at this time...  I just wanted to make a quick post congratulating my St. Louis Blues for FINALLY winning the Stanley Cup last night.  Year after year I post about the play-offs and year after year my Blues would lose...so this year I didn't want to jinx it (I'm not even superstitious, but...lol) so I didn't post anything here or in the shout box (or on Facebook or anywhere)... and POOF!  Blues win!!  My avatar that has been around since pretty much the beginning of my existance at the Arena and she can also now proudly say she supports a team that has finally won the Cup haha!

35 years of waiting for this moment for me (being 35)....52 years in the making for the franchise as a whole.  First Cup.  Whew!

Congratulations to the Boston Bruins for a hard-fought series (going to 7 games); however, a greater congrats to my favorite sports team of all time... the St. Louis Blues 

Oh my goodness... I never realized they were the Tales ponies in alternate colors either!!  At least I’m not the only one lol. Wow.  My mind is blown.  Beautiful set!

Sugarcake was one of the last US G1s I needed... and it was quite the hunt to find her online! She was finally reunited with gametime (who wasn’t the easiest to find either... but is a bit easier than sugarcake, in my opinion)!

Baby Sugarcake (I think that's the one --- the yellow one) was one of the last mail orders I had to purchase because she is pretty darn hard to find.  Whenever I've seen her on eBay, she usually goes for over $300... But I've seen her go for higher (and lower -- but that's been some time).

I think Gametime is a little easier to find (or, at least, I used to see her more), so her price might be slightly lower - but not much. 

Note that the above doesn't take into account accessories (that's not a specialization of mine, but I'm sure they would increase the value by a decent amount)!

Out of all of the mail orders to have, these two are definitely some of the most rare   Awesome!!!
