Pony Corral / Dutch accessories PC
« on: November 14, 2020, 03:20:13 PM »
Hey, I’m not much of an accessories collector, but I recently purchased a couple Dutch ponies that came with their accessories.  It is Dutch Stars star comb and Sing-alongs star comb. I’m debating selling them (the combs... not the ponies lol). Any idea as to how much they may go for?  I tried doing a sold listings search on eBay, but I didn’t have any luck.  Any advice would be appreciated!!  Thank you!!

MLP Nirvana / Dutch accessories question / pc
« on: November 13, 2020, 06:07:13 PM »
Hey, all... so I’m not a collector of accessories at all; however, I recently bought a couple Dutch ponies (star and singalong) that came with their star combs.  Any clue on how much they may be worth if I end up selling them? I could’ve sworn i saw one on eBay months ago, but sold listings didn’t really show anything up for me.

Thank you!!

Off Topic / Go, Blues :)
« on: June 13, 2019, 07:24:50 PM »
Ok, I know there are SOME hockey fans on this forum, although I don't know how active they ("we") are at this time...  I just wanted to make a quick post congratulating my St. Louis Blues for FINALLY winning the Stanley Cup last night.  Year after year I post about the play-offs and year after year my Blues would lose...so this year I didn't want to jinx it (I'm not even superstitious, but...lol) so I didn't post anything here or in the shout box (or on Facebook or anywhere)... and POOF!  Blues win!!  My avatar that has been around since pretty much the beginning of my existance at the Arena and she can also now proudly say she supports a team that has finally won the Cup haha!

35 years of waiting for this moment for me (being 35)....52 years in the making for the franchise as a whole.  First Cup.  Whew!

Congratulations to the Boston Bruins for a hard-fought series (going to 7 games); however, a greater congrats to my favorite sports team of all time... the St. Louis Blues

Pony Corral / UK Great Hair Ringlets - Sunfading?
« on: July 11, 2016, 06:00:54 PM »
Just a quick question...

I recently purchased an excellent conditioned UK Great Hair Ringlets...she's perfect except there is a small marker stain on her display side cheek (right over the blush).

I know that sunfading the mark will like fade the blush, and that's ok... I'm more concerned with sunburn.  Is UK Great Hair Ringlets a pony that will sunburn easily like a Gingerbread or Cherry Treats?

Thanks so much!

Pony Corral / G1 PC Sticker Help - I'm clueless!
« on: July 05, 2016, 06:30:40 AM »
Ok, so this never happens to me.  (And I hate doing PCs..I tried to scour the archives but was unsuccessful.)

My friend's neighbor was having a yard sale this past Friday.  She neeeever goes to yard sales, but she wandered over and saw some pony stuff.  She called me and asked if she should buy it for me (and if they were legitimate).

She described a couple Ponyville's for me, the La Ti Da Ponyville playset, a few G3s...I had her pick them all up.

Then she said there were these stickers that looked older and were all in a plastic bag.  She was describing them to me and it sounds like they are G1 puffy stickers.  Not just any puffy stickers.... Seamist, Sand Dollar, etc.  It sounded like she read off all the adult sea ponies!  She also read off some other ones, but I kind of stopped listening when I heard the seaponies since I never really hear their names haha.

I asked her if any of them were still new - had their backing or sleeve, etc...  She said NO, but they still looked good.  I had her pick them up.  I'm supposed to swing by today to grab them so I'll know more later.

I was fortunate enough to own my set from when I was younger (now if only I could find those dang shells...who has the dang sticker but not the shells?!?! UGH), so I'll probably be putting these up for sale.  Thing is----I have NO clue how much to ask.  I thought they were a bit harder to find, but I have ZERO idea.

To make a long story short, any PC help on the following would be great:
-puffy Sand Dollar
-puffy Whitecap
-puffy Wave Jumper
-puffy Seamist
-puffy High Tide
-puffy Sea Breeze
...(***And note - I'm NOT POSITIVE she said all of these seaponies, but I'll just ask now just in case I luck out and get them all lol)

I also remember her saying these...
-puffy Baby Blossom
-puffy Baby Surprise
-puffy Windy
-puffy Something New
-puffy Tiddlywinks

I asked her to ask if they had any actual PONIES...but apparently they had sold them at a garage sale a loooong time ago, and they had just recently found these in their basement.  Apparently they used to have a small collection, and now their daughter liked some of the newer ones (hence the Ponyvilles/G3s).  Small world!

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!  Thanks! :)

Ok, so I have been doing price checks on a lot of my MIB G3s since I am looking to sell most of them; however, there is one that I can find no trace of anywhere.  It's the Shimmer Shine as the Flower Petal Princess Mint in Box set.  She still lights up when you press the flower on her head.

ANY clue how much she may go for?  Thank you! :)

Ok, I neeeeever ship internationally.  It's just a personal thing, and it makes me nervous completing customs forms and worrying about packages getting places, etc.   :yikes:

I am, however, trying to ship something to Canada.  It's about 6 oz.  When I use the USPS shipping calculator (shipping from 62234), I'm getting a shipping estimate of $9.50 for first class international.  I'm guessing that would be right...

I do not buy stamps online (I just pay for exact shipping costs at the post office); however, I noticed I could fill out a customs form online.  I had a few questions (they are pretty simple but I just want to make sure I'm doing this right):

I used Form 2976...
A)  Contents:  Would "merchandise" be the correct category since it's a pony someone bought?
B) Contents description:  Would "plastic toy pony" be a sufficient description?
C)  AES Exemption:  I tried to read the descriptions of the options, so I'm guessing it's "NOEEI 30.37(a)
Value of each class of goods is $2,500 or less, when an export license is not required." --- since it's only worth $15??

Would I just print the form that has a bar code on it once I finish completing the online customs form (even if I'm not paying for shipping online)?  Do I then just bring that paper to the Post Office with the package and then they will help me with the rest?

OR do you think it'd just be easier for me to go to the Post Office and say, "I am trying to mail this item to Canada," and then hopefully they'd just give me the forms to fill out by hand?  haha

Thank you so much!!

For Sale - For Auction / G1 Women's Socks (5 pair) for sale
« on: March 25, 2016, 12:06:24 PM »
I found these brand new socks and thought I'd see if anyone here wanted to buy them.  I actually have two sets of these.  There is Windy, Skydancer, two Moonstones, and another pony (can't figure out who exactly she is supposed to be???) in the pack.

I am asking $15 plus shipping/tracking for a pack of 5 socks.

At this time I can ONLY ship within the U.S. (Sorry!!)

Let me know if you have any questions :)

Thanks!

MLP Nirvana / Up Up and Away
« on: January 09, 2016, 12:11:19 PM »
Hey, all!  Everytime I see a nirvana of Up Up and Away, I have the strongest urge to buy it - yet - for whatever reason (though mostly monetary I'm sure lol), I haven't yet.

I seriously don't know why I am drawn to Up Up and Away...I'm not particularly fond of pink (or balloons :P), but there just must be something about her.  I'm that way with Galaxy though, too.  Will wonders never cease?

Sooooo my questions are...

How many nirvanas of Up Up and Away are there?  Do you have any pictures you can share with me?

(And, I suppose, if you are selling any Nirvana Up Up and Aways, don't hesitate to point me in that direction, either, just in case lol)

On December 12, I purchased a lot of 4 petite ponies from a seller on eBay.  In the description it noted that the seller only ships 1 or 2 times per week, so I assumed the shipping would be a bit slow.  No big deal.  I kept waiting and waiting... it was finally shipped out on 12/21 (9 days later but...whatever).  I know things can get hectic, especially this time of year.

Well, it came in today wrapped in a tiny envelope...and only two petites were in it.  One of them was not even the petite I bought.  I took a picture of the petites that came in the mail and sent the following to the seller:

"Good afternoon! I received a package from you today, and I believe I received someone else's order. My lot should have had four petites, and I only received two (one is a pink earth pony with curly hair and one is the blue earth pony with pink hair). The blue earth pony is the one in the picture, and the pink earth pony with curly yellow hair is not in the picture at all. Please advise within the next couple of days on how you recommend proceeding.
Thanks!"

(Reading back my message now, I meant to put "I may have received someone else's order" - but oh well - too late now oops.)

Now, again, I know it's a busy time of year - and things can get crazy and misplaced (I'm pretty easy going with stuff) - but just IN CASE things do not go smoothly...

What should my timeline be?  Wait for a couple of days for a response... then hopefully the seller will realize the error and send me the rest of my items?

If she is being difficult for some reason, what is the time limit on opening a claim?

Thanks for the help! :)

Trader & Shipping Support / Postage Question
« on: November 15, 2015, 03:40:00 PM »
Ok, this should be super simple - but I just need to make sure I'm not misquoting shipping for people.

I usually just ship a pony or two at a time, so quoting shipping is usually not difficult...it usually amounts to around $4 or so.

Well, I'm going through and selling a lot of my MIB G3s so obviously the box size is increasing and the poundage is increasing.

Am I doing this right? - Imagine I'm shipping about 2 pounds worth of stuff.  When I put it in the shipping postage calculator, it's showing around $6.  Is that right?  It seems low to me, but...who am I to judge if it's cheaper than anticipated, lol?  I just want to make sure I'm doing it correctly.

Thanks :)

Pony Corral / MLP made the Country Music Awards
« on: November 05, 2015, 03:55:54 PM »
Ok, I keep trying to find a youtube clip or some kind of picture to capture the moment - but I'm currently coming up empty handed...

Did anyone see the country music awards last night?  Following a performance by Kacey Musgraves (where she had animated ponies running on the screen while she sang), Brad Paisley started shouting, "My Little Pony!  My Little Pony!"  Then the cameras went to a shot of Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley...and Brad had a Fashion Style Princess Cadence in his hands.  (I'm not a huge Kacey Musgraves' fan so I was zoning out, but when I heard those three wonderful words, it surely go my attention!)

Price Check Archives / PC: Pink Sprinkles (my nemesis...)
« on: October 28, 2015, 02:18:20 PM »
Ok, so I've been searching for Pink Sprinkles for awhile, and an opportunity has arisen where one may be available for purchase.  Clearly she doesn't come up too often, but I know the last time I saw her sell on eBay she went for around $65 or $68...but that's been quite awhile ago (like I think 8 months or so - naturally before I was actively searching for her...such is my life :P)

This particular one has a very slight discoloration (perhaps a tiny bit of regrind?  We aren't sure) near her wing and perhaps a few other light marks (nothing major).

We aren't really sure on what a fair price would be.  Any suggestions on a fair price for all involved??

Thanks! :)

Trader & Shipping Support / eBay combined shipping & "checkout" help...
« on: October 18, 2015, 11:54:35 AM »
I have a bunch of ponies up on eBay as "buy it nows;" however, I have a customer who would like to purchase multiple ones (which is great).

She sent me a message asking if I combined shipping (which I do).  I asked her to just buy the items but wait to pay until I sent her an updated invoice with the new shipping information amount.

She sent a message back saying she ordered three of my ponies through checkout and that she wasn't sure if they showed up on my end or not.  ----which they haven't.

I'm not quite sure on how to proceed.  All of my buy-it-nows are still running, so could she have just added them to a shopping cart (which means they may still be available for someone else to buy)?  How do I do the combined shipping for her?  (I'm so basic when it comes to eBay...!)

Any advice or direction would be GREATLY appreciated!
