Do you need more bags of the older stuff?  with the bluish tint?  I have a couple that I ordered I'm sure I could sell you one or two of them...

I've got two and a half bags of the blue tint stuff from a few yrs ago... pm me if you want them!

when customizing i always use a cup with a lid for my drinks then i can sort of keep in check that i didn't rinse my brush in my drink.  also if i pick up a drink that's uncovered then i know i got the brush water and NOT my drink...hopefully before it's entered my mouth...LOL

i draw on were i want stuff to be very lightly with pencil first...but i use the flat surface i'm working on to help keep my arms stable and i hold the head with one hand with the elbow supported on the work surface and use the other with the brush and my baby finger resting on the head while i paint.   i also keep q-tips and a razor blade to clean up mistakes.

Most meet ups are usually a small affair unless you are looking to create a huge meeting.  I'm saying like 30 persons or less that type of attendance.  I have no idea what we'd get if we open to the FIM/G4 fans/bronies or the core collectors.

Sometimes lightly sanding or roughing up the area to paint helps. I've also painted a base colour under a symbol as well, to get a specific look.

Coming from B.C. we'd want something else to be a draw as well.  I've never been to stampede and with pur little one that'd be fun to do!  You can count on me to help you set up a fb page or a Twitter account.  I can also bring food but we should ask people attending to bring a snack to share. Organisers can supply beverages ie coffee tea juice.

As for places to rent or a hall check community centre's, ice rinks or churches. I know in Bowvalley there is at least one large hall/gymnasium attached  to a rink.  Was there for a hockey tourney and there was a craft market in there...

I love the unique look of the cranes flying across her whole back and sides!!  You did an outstanding job on the tiny crane details and shading!  You really created a beautiful effect!

The hair is a really lovely blend as well!  and the amount of time put into a custom is all your own, some people see the design and can really pull it together in a short time..(not me)  Some of us take ridiculous amounts of time so we don't turn out too many ponies in a yr.

I too would have offered money for this one if she had been for sale. :)  She really appeals to the design type that I like in a custom.

I'd be happy to help anybody set up for hosting I'd even send you the spread sheet I've used the last few yrs to help you pair different people instead of the same ones again...since I'm on maternity leave I'll have a bit of time but a nursing newborn is likely not going to give me a ton of custom work time or check in here time. :)
