That's amazing. I'm so sorry for your loss. My fur-baby was also named Abbey, she was a Dalmatian. I had to put her down in 2008. They hold such a special place in our hearts don't they. (((Hugs)))

Edit - I see our Abbey's were the same age too. Mine was 1993-2008.

I'm picking up my Christmas decorations this week at my husband's grandparents' house and I'm going to set up the tree the day after Thanksgiving.  Can't wait to hang my little Abbey!  I made some pawprint ornaments on the day we had to have her PTS that I will be giving everyone in the family and I think I will hang my own near this ornament.  Seems fitting that they go together.



SpookyTrees, I'm sorry to hear you lost your Abbey as well.  It's a good name for good dogs.

I'm so sorry to hear about that you had lost your beautiful friend...very cute gift you got. I believe Abbey think that too even that you maybe don't see her, remember that she is with you all the time

We will be putting up our tree this weekend. I was going to do it right after Thanksgiving, but didn't have time to get my decorations from my husband's grandparents' house. I will post a pic of my little Abbey ornament when she's up. She's hanging out with all my dollies right now.
