I wouldn't worry about the dill. It's just an annual and you re-sow it every 6 weeks or so. I do think the others look great!

I lost the peacock plant. I don't think the fern and spider plant are going to make it either.

I'm sorry you lost the peacock plant, BC.

I haven't posted pics of mine in a while.  Does anyone want to see them?

I might have killed the sage and basil.  I checked on them on Sat and noticed that the basil was trying to have roots come out over the top of the pot.  We don't have any more potting soil, but I used what was in the dill pot and repotted the basil.

Water wasn't reaching the bottom of the sage plant in the pot it was in.  I had just watered it, but the bottom of the soil was dry when I took it out.  I tried repotting it also, but again didn't have enough potting soil.

Ponyfan, i've never been able to keep my basils alive after i bring them inside either :(

i'm off for the holiday so i might do some yard work. i need to plan for spring. i would like to add more plants. now that i know to water the lavender very little I'll probably replace the ones i killed. the ones that made it look good though. i would like to add more citrus trees too.

I have been thinking about the veg garden for next year. I bought some seeds and ordered my potato tubers. I'm always too ambitious but last year it paid off because a lot of things got eaten off by slugs, but what was left was just enough. I still have three pumpkins left to eat.

The plants I brought indoors look terrible.  I don't think any of them except the aloes are going to make it.

Has anyone had any luck (no pun intended) with lucky bamboo? I saw some at the grocery store (roots in water) and was intrigued by it, but I have no idea if it's easy to grow.

As a kid we had some of the lucky bamboo - it lived pretty well for several years without much care from us, so I think someone who actually tried with it would have it do great!

Our apartment doesn't get a ton of natural light (and I can't put anything in the windows just due to their shape/the cats), but I'm trying oregano and rosemary with a grow light because I need greenery in my life.
